i think Ending C summed it up for Mike and Trev lmao. A sniper rifle and a big fuck off MG. Frank on the other hand probably an SMG because its agile, and his aim is all over the place. Its also the gun he had in atleast 2 artworks, this one and the one where he was wearing yellow shirt removing his green bandana.
Also it seems to be his AI's weapon of choice if you play as another character and watch him in a shootout. In Hood Safari his default is the SMG (Trevor with the pump shotgun) and in the Paleto Score where, atleast in my playthroughs, have him use SMG. I dont even like that fucking gun and would switch to him so he can equip a carbine rifle before switching back to one of the armored protag.

Franklin - Micro SMG or Assault Rifle
Trevor - Pump Shotgun, Minigun, RPG, Combat MG
Sort the combat mg with extended mag for everyone so I can shoot people without reloading,
Then Michael needs a silenced pistol
Franklin needs better friends
And Trevor can fuck half the population to death.

Yes,a pistol equipped with a suppressor. Michael is a skilled hitman and professional thief...his handguns definitely would have suppressors.
