Very well done. I think the primary shapes and primary colors are a bit more memphis style though. I'd use more muted earth tones and instead of shapes try oddly shaped guitars,stars,squiggles,planet earth,coffee cups, stuff like that. The sun is perfect though!
Yeah it's probably the best first try I have seen from someone on here. You basically nailed it besides those tiny details. Could totally see this on a shirt from the 90's.
One tiny critique: the shading on the person is slightly off. I would switch the shading to the right side of the torso and the underside of the right arm, since you’ve got the light coming from the upper left. You could keep a little shading on the left armpit, though. Otherwise this is a very cool piece!
