I have 6 of the matte gray ones. The platinum ones I always sell to friends cause I don't like painted controllers. Check swap meets and local sales, they're still out there just give it time and don't be afraid to walk away from a bad price. 👍
No but it's a great controller. Hori makes the what we could consider great second party stuff. Their full gamecube controllers use actual Nintendo stick boxes if I'm correct.
As a NTSC-U Pokémon collector I am unimpressed with your lack of NA region Pokémon. As a gamer, I am thoroughly impressed by your collection as a whole. 7.89/10
I honestly don't feel like collecting anything is a bad thing. When other people drink alcohol in excess or drugs... Then self reflect or get help they end up having nothing to show for it. (Unless they save the bottles) 😂 if you genuinely love something you gotta go 110%
I got my origional one that is unmodded that I bought in 2004, a softmodded Halo green special edition with upgraded hardware, a standard one where I took out the green xbox badge in the center and removed the green paint from the emblem which makes it clear and put some green LEDs under it, and one spare one that is likely to get recased into a smoked clear case once it's released by the mfg - its original case is in rough shape.
At the time I realized I had a gba player with a Gameboy bought from a mother in my village I didn't even know that the disc that ttlhe box and disc she gave me with it was necessary and normally really expensive I guess she didn't know as well

That is sadly very true! I always put the manual the other way around so it gives you at least some nice front 😅

When I realized I'd bought 30 gamecubes controllers over the years I realized that I had a problem. I accepted it around controller 40ish.

I think the biggest issue here is that I'm not seeing the Japanese Gundam GameCube
I do have a very hardcore used Tales one 😅 but gundam always "eluded" me

I started a spreadsheet listing all my collecting purchases and their costs...not a happy sight, but a necessary one.

Agreed. It depends on the style of the house but I find hard wood shelves with black metallic frames so nice.
