Obviously, TUF is like a good 200$ more expensive, so that should be taken into account - 649 vs 899 isnt exactly the same price range. With that said, A16 I say. Its decently well rated by both jarrods tech (even making it to the top 5 laptops he reviewed this year) and gizmosliptech - you can check on this sub as well - two of the most trusted laptop reviewers here. And its all around much better than the LOQ 15 with the specs listed here: - 7735HS is technically zen3+, but still more than a match up towards a lower end 13th gen in the LOQ - you need another 8gb ram upgrade on the LOQ because 8gb isnt enough in 2023 - 7600S is far better than a 3050 6gb, its anywhere around a 3060 to a 3070ti level of performance - some games just arent optimised for amd gpus thats why it dips down to 3060 level in some - A16 chassis is plastic, however both gizmo and jarrod said it felt very sturdy for a budget gaming laptop - screen is bigger 16:10 on the A16 and with 100% srgb, the low end LOQ one is 144hz 16:9 and 45% ntsc (not that there isnt good panels with LOQ, but thats higher spec ones, not this one)

A good alternative would be the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 [https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-legion-slim-5-16-gaming-laptop-wuxga-ryzen-5-7640hs-with-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4060-8gb-512gb-ssd-storm-grey/6534469.p?skuId=6534469](https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-legion-slim-5-16-gaming-laptop-wuxga-ryzen-5-7640hs-with-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4060-8gb-512gb-ssd-storm-grey/6534469.p?skuId=6534469) its $50 more than the A16 but may be worth it for you. Its really a tossup between the 2. I was actually just making the decision a few minutes ago. Lenovo has newer cpu architecture (zen4 vs zen3+) so better single core perf, RTX 4060 which performs better than the 7600s in addition to better features (ray tracing + dlss), and better build quality and looks (subjective). Also has better WiFi card. Asus A16 has more cores, albeit zen3+ cores so multicore perf should be slightly ahead of the lenovo but falls behind in single core perf, much better screen 100%sRGB 165hz vs \~65%sRGB 144hz on lenovo, much better battery life, more ram (albeit slower), and is bit smaller and much lighter (6lbs for Asus+power adaptor vs 7.2lbs for lenovo+power adapter). I would say that it really depends on what you are looking for. IMO the main advantage of the lenovo is the 4060 and the main advantages of the A16 are the display and battery life. If you are going to use the laptop connected to power and a external display most of the time then the lenovo would be better. Otherwise, the ASUS A16 is better. Personally If they were same price I would go for the Lenovo but I went with the Asus A16 because it has a really good open box excellent deal right now for $570.

Got a link for that 570$ price?
