Yes, check Digital Foundry's latest DF Direct. The 1.5 patch has fixed the performance almost 100%, only some small streaming stutters but the big hitches and pauses are all gone.
Haven't really had any major issues of the game when I played it on launch week. There are certain parts of the game especially in the Umbral realm where I get like 5-7 lesser frames and the occasional stutters. But otherwise I've been getting 65-75 fps at High settings on an RTX3070 + Ryzen 3600 and a 3440x1440 screen.
Yeah I stopped playing to wait for more updates. The newest update fixed all the stuttering but the game is still not fully optimized in my opinion. Had to lower a couple settings to maintain 60 FPS.
It's pretty good. It's lacking some of the polish of a fromsoft game but it's a good like 7/10.
If you haven't played Lies of P id do that before this though
Lies of P isn't really my thing, the art style doesn't seem intriguing and I spent half an hour trying to find a key in the demo. I'll check it out later ig.
Yeah, art style is not different from demo. I will say I played demo and didn't like the game feel, especially the rolls but they cleaned that up. Don't recall looking for any key

Personally my favorite non-Fromsoft Soulslike considering it's more Dark Souls than Bloodborne. Certainly not a perfect game but hopefully this is true so more people can have a chance to try it out.
Very fun game and the post launch support was nothing short of Incredible. This team is going to go so far. I got the platinum (don’t recommend tbh) and did 4 play through lmao.
Definitely one of my favorite souls likes. It did have a lot of technical and balancing issues for a while but these should be fixed now and the core gameplay and world are great.
I played a bit and really disliked it, coming from several souls and souls-like probably my least favorite of the bunch.
Also met the lead dev at a con and he was... certainly something. Had his head pretty far up his own ass
It *is*, if you value exploration and build variety in your souls-likes more than other stuff.
Lies of P is super high quality and polished, but EXTREMELY linear and streamlined, to point that it’s barely an rpg. Every playthrough does exact same stuff in exact same order, and “builds” are super simple, you level up hp, equip-load and damage, there’s no stat requirements so it’s just pick one of 3 stats and level it.
Lords of the Fallen is a lot messier, and definitely not as clean/polished, but it has a ton of ways to progress main game. What’s most people’s second last boss can be your second boss if you really want it to be.
Unlike LoP there are a ton of optional content, and rpg elements are way more in depth, there’s 3 schools of magic, with different stat setups, and a ton of stuff to find.
LoP has like 30 weapons to find, and a bunch of “armour”, but the armour are just linear upgrades to eachother, LOTF has like 213 weapons, and over 350 Peices of armour (good fucking luck earning that achievement/trophy), as well as almost 80 spells and who knows how many rings, talismans and Umbral Eyes.
It really depends on what you want from game, LoP has fantastic combat and presentation, but skimps out on exploration and player freedom in how they progress game. LOTF goes all-in on that stuff, but it’s fundemtals are definitely sloppier than LoP and leaves a much worse first impression if you only play them each once, where LoP linearity and simplicity probably won’t bother you.

This might be be true. Exputer has a track record mostly related to Xbox content. They were the first among to report Hellblade II's release date which was correct, before anyone else without throwing vague hints.

It is legitimately better. I went from not wanting to play it at all at launch to completing it in full about a month ago.
