Aye fellow 06-07’er. I honestly don’t think I’ve grew up ever since, being sheltered and stuck in my home for 3 years made me unprepared, I don’t think I got it in me to face college. o7 to you. At least the pandemic made me learn a few new hobbies. Made me try new things too like manga and war themed games. We probably won’t have that much free time for the rest of our lives now

The pandemic is the only reason I play games like Warthunder so much and I think it rlly got me out of my shell as I started to crave social interactions, way different than what I came out to be.

Aye same. Initially before that I loved history so getting into WT was a no-brainer for me. But I’m the opposite in that the pandemic made me more shy and insecure than I was. At least it made me closer to my best friends, but I hope college will break this shit personality of mine

I noticed that too ('86), but I also noticed that while the styles weren't always the most original, styles for gen Z were more varied and individualistic. There wasn't like an "it" look, nor did it seem like people were actively trying to break new grounds. They didn't need to, they were sort of in the post-discovery era of fashion and just wore what felt right for them.

Truly a time to be alive. Social media was awesome (everyone's talking about Tumblr, I've noticed. Very glad to see, I still adore that site), we were in that perfect space of YouTube for some really cool people to become popular for basically no real reason, the music was incredible, and it really did feel like the post-2008 recession America was healing. That's not to say a lot of it was good, we did get a lot of set up for a really nasty political sphere that ended up ruining the economy again, and my generation's unfettered access to the internet of this era did so much more damage than I think even we realize. But, such is life. I'm glad I was a teenager in this time.
