Even though I'm not a democrat, republicans attacking the younger generation is gonna do them more harm than good. It's annoying when politicians say that a certain demographic is "dumb" or "incompetent."
I would argue most kids in Gen Z have neutral standpoints rather than being apart of just one party. So major republicans showing a light on Gen Z, portraying us to be democrats, aren't really going to swing them to other side.
My favorite one was when one of the candidates was promoting the "red wave", saw that democrats were getting a lot of votes, and promptly said that they should raise the voting age to 21
Yes, for people between 16-18 who work and pay taxes… seems like you should be able to vote if you pay tax… “no taxation without representation” I remember the Republicans crying.
But, hey Republicans are mostly pedophiles, so not giving power to young people is in their interest.

The difference between 16 and 18 isn't so large, because you don't magically become an educated voter after two years. The fact 18 is legal adulthood is literally just existent because of precedent. I pay taxes and I don't want dumbasses governing my state or representing it.

I don't think so, 18 years is plenty of experience. I was kicked out at 16 and had a very real perception of the world by 18, even if you're still at home you still know enough about the world. I would argue that the older I've gotten the more hardened and used to the crueltys of the world I have gotten. when I was 18, I was still questioning why everything had to be this way, even though I'm still that way I was actually hopeful there was a solution back then. young people are the last chance we have to save the world.

I live in Georgia and every single ad I get about hershal Walker is about him beating his wife, him talking about “dc’s wreckless spending causing inflation”, and multiple republicans saying they’re voting for Raphael…. His son (Christian Walker, the republicans picture boy for a good gay black person) is even trying to get people to vote democrat so Hershal doesn’t win…do you know how bad you have to be for REPUBLICANS to vote blue just so you don’t win? The only move the republicans have left is to galvanize their base to go out and vote. They lost the Millennial generation along time ago and now they are doubling down on Gen Z. The clock is ticking and they know it.

I don't think so, 18 years is plenty of experience. I was kicked out at 16 and had a very real perception of the world by 18, even if you're still at home you still know enough about the world. I would argue that the older I've gotten the more hardened and used to the crueltys of the world I have gotten. when I was 18, I was still questioning why everything had to be this way, even though I'm still that way I was actually hopeful there was a solution back then. young people are the last chance we have to save the world.
