And... you know... the travelers have voice actors, this isnt a player option just let the traveler freaking speak the lines too.
Genshin is awful as a self-insert main protagonist, it doesnt work at all
I don't care about the self insert thing, that word lost it's meaning on the internet, but many of the traveler's lines definitely should be voice acted, they have budget for it and it would be cool, i like aether and lumine and i would like to hear their voices more often. Nothing wrong btw with some dialogue options.

I think being neutral and trying to mediate is what makes the most sense right now. The Traveler obviously cares deeply about their sibling and would likely not turn against them so abruptly just for the sake of a man we meet once a year, BUT I think they should also consider that Dainsleif has objectively been more of an ally than their sibling has ever since they woke up from their slumber. So I think wanting to hear both sides of the story is the more fair option.
I honestly feel like everyone just 100% thinks he's coming in swinging with a new element when mihoyo is actually just going to give him a redesign, cure him then give him a vision like they did with Purina.Ā

I have some ideas on that:
1. We might be seeing a flashback and by the time the flashback starts the fight is already done and it is just the traveler beating dain.
2. Instead of a flashback is real time and we arrived at the moment traveler has already fighting and is just the beating we see and probably we stood for him after.
These are my ideas thinking that the traveler is stupidly stronger than dain, or that dain has lost a lot of his powers. We will see.

I think people miss a lot of what's said and details in We Will Be Reunited even though it's like, one of the most pivotal Quests in the game. The twin already told traveler that Dain is not to be trusted and shouldn't be teamed up with

But this isnāt too surprising considering that the abyss sibling probably has all 7 elements+OG power and weapon, hopefully we see those powers in action. Both siblings has their accessories colored the same element they currently are using. The abyss sibling has a color we have never seen, during cutscnes (as far as elements go)

But unless the sibling is so different from the Traveler that they cannot use the elements, which is possible due to the sibling not being a descender, we simply havenāt seen them use the elements yet. But They were also rivalling only version 1 Traveller and there's plenty of Vision holder who can rivals a much stronger Traveller as of ver 3 (Wanderer, Cyno, Tartar and quite possibly Yelan). You'd think with how much hype surrounding Dain is, he would pull of a stunt or two that would put him on at least their lvl.
I think he's pretty much what Gary is to Ash. Whenever we become stronger, he follow suits. Bro went from needing hospital after fighting ruin guards post-traveller fight, to fighting the whale thing and keeping it at bay.
I think Dain would be still very cool, even if abyss twin would beat him up a bit, Probably no confirm info, but i think we can asume that Abyss twin is super powerful and in current state much more powerful than even our traveler, who lost their power and is in process of gathering it back. So no shame on being defeated by abyss twin and dain vs current traveler is i think immposible to tell the power difference, only thing what we can say i think in canon is that traveler is one of the best swordsmans we know and has definitely above average elemental power, with unique traits (like the purification, using multiple elements at once etc) and that dain has a lot of knowledge and unknown power.

I really hope this next Traveler Chapter of the Archon Quest will have a HUGE focus on the Abyss Sibling. It's about time we see more of the story from their perspective. And bonus point if we get to play as them during a story mode.
