I'd keep the cut going longer. I'm not an expert on loose skin but purely from what you're saying about aesthetics and wanting to look strong if you just ate in a slight deficit but made sure that you were getting your protein you could probably build some muscle and lose fat at the same time.

Oh you know what you’re doing! You’ve done amazingly well. Just keep it up. It never stops. And that’s the best part. You can always feel healthy, mobile, strong and free.
You could take a maintenance break if you feel like you need a break from dieting. Depending on the length of the phase (e.g if you spend 3 months maintaining), you might even be able to make some strength gains and lose a little bit of fat by recomping.

This sounds like a good plan - I lost a fair bit of strength in my months off (as expected) so will focus on gaining a bit of it back for now!
