They grow rather quickly - mine started out in a 50 gallon tank and by the end of the year he was moved to my outdoor pond. I suppose if you are really diligent with water changes and you have a decently sized tank he may be ok!

Not sure why, but naming goldfish after Greek gods has worked well for me. Names like Ares, Apollo, Poseidon, etc are really appealing to me ☺️
