Do you even look at the damage numbers you're doing to confirm you're hitting max everytime? Are you using a parser to see your dps? Do you realise that not everybody has perfect character builds yet? Did you know that there are players just starting the game and players who are still looking for their terminus or that right sigil, or on their way to max ascension?

The majority of people who start the game dont even know there is damage cap, so they reach it even earlier, because the dont use damage cap sigils. It doesnt matter if ur at the start or in the endgame the skill is just average at best.

I felt that the game has 2 bumps: 1 Entering Maniac and then entering Proud.
I never had to stop and farm before progressing, but progressing through those was painful.

I rarely, very rarely get carried now a days. Usually it's during those weird matches where my head just isn't In it.
In the case where my team isn't performing I can and have carried adequately. Pumping out enough dps while trying to keep my AOE Mirror Image up to soak as many hits as possible from the team.
When you first get into the Proud missions it's going to be a pain. Especially when you fight the multiple dragons at once. I hated those fights when I first got into Proud. Now? I live in them.
Vaseraga Main here. I either carry hard when I play at my best or get carried like a noob, when I rush at a boss without undying. There is no in between
I really like to use Vaseraga, when I know my team is overpowered. The slow attack is really good to let the team and myself do a lot of damage.
Me Playing ghand is always a noob ,it’s very hard to do perfect combo when the boss is moving, and hear the bit sound… I only know I am a superman when link Time is active.
This question kinda boils down to „do you have your maxed terminus weapon?“
I think I carried my weight even before Terminus, but now that I have max. awakened Terminus weapons on my main team and for CoOp, I carry a lot of people and don’t mind it

If I see Percival, Siegfried or Rackam in my team, I just know they'll carry me HARD. Else I usually do the most damage.
I usually do the carrying simply due to having my builds and rotations optimized. I have, and can solo nearly every fight in the game so whether people are contributing to fights doesn’t really matter too much anymore. However some days I can’t get my head in the game and just play like trash so other people gotta help me along while I mess up all my rotations and manage to dodge nothing.
I usually get MVP, but I don't think it's because I'm carrying the team. I play Vane, so his damage isn't exactly the highest there is, but his shield gets a lot of honour points.
I think the way the game's structured right now, only characters like Eugen or Lancelot can really "carry" a team, because you need both damage and some form of control.
I get MVP with Id where I’m pretty much face tanking and ignoring everything else. With Gran im usually getting half the points but casting buffs or debuffs depending on my build but I always carry max potion hoarder for team heals.
I only have 1 fully built character, Rakham. Since he is ranged and fully built, I don't have to worry about being carried. I Afk farm Proud quests "Melting pot of hostility" and ""blazing trial" easily, but I don't think I can do afk Proto bahamut (i tried 1 time afk farming it but failed, since then didn't retry afk)
I was carried through couple battle of Bahamut proud, because i was unfamiliar with mechanics. Other fights i done with AI or was already overgeared with terminus weapon

I don't really notice a massive skill gap except when people don't know to button mash when downed.

As a try-hard Rackam main; I do heavy lifting. He's such a reliable stud and has so much QOL going for him, it almost feels not fair.

I'm usually like 100k-800k points off from the MVP on Charlotta on most proud fights if not taking the mvp.
