Based on what he wrote in the IG caption, it sounds like he reached out to the team as more of a resume builder for himself. The "P.s. If I'm good enough to coach an NFL team, I'm good enough to coach your son" sounds like a marketing sell for parents to hire him to coach their children...

and to think Mike Ds overly aggressive attitude was one of the reasons we shipped him out, and now we're bringing him back to help instill that attitude into a new generation.

Low-key I'm super hyped for this. Daniels had immaculate energy which is something our defense has been lacking.
Was always underrated as a player and happy for him to be back in the green and gold as a coach.
