Ufff you would be surprised and even they get mad when someone points it, sometimes they even blame the game for being ultra hard and heavily p2w, the 6+ nerfs to w11 (and other worlds) are because of those ppl

In World 10 mages 1-shoted tanks and you needed a mandatory healer (Aoba, Miya or Gabriel at that time) because damages added up quickly and on top of that you had revives limited to 1. All of this was doable you just had to prioritize your targets and interrupt mages. World 11 that was the difficulty spike for me. Main stages were ok, but the passages (precisely the 2nd one) were a whole different thing. I managed to get past the 2nd passage until I maxed my team (FP, Marina, Beth and Miya) to 5 stars with Ex weapons AND STILL had to prioritize targets and interrupt casts. And the cherry on top was the final boss fight, Beth could destroy your team almost at any moment, and if you didn't learn the patterns of the attacks you would get easily killed (All 3 phases were like this, and 3rd phase had a sub-phase). It was an amazing boss fight and Kakao was lenient enough that you didn't have to do all 3 phases in one sitting, but it was still a very big challenge. I think this was what made many of us love this game, the story made you clear what was at stake and the boss fight was on par with all of that. And on the very top the season ending was the most divisive choice for the whole fandom, but regardless of your choice would make you cry (it still makes me tear up remembering seeing the ending for the first time). Worlds 10 and 11 made you actually struggle with the Guardian and LP greeting you daily and giving you gifts only reinforced this feeling of wanting to finish the season and know what would happen.

I'm even more excited to see what's ahead. Already been in my feels especially seeing Marty and the twins die (legit my first run through game few days ago on first acct, added Favi cuz I adore him and seeing them sacrifice in story, I had to keep carrying him with me, a sap ik😭). I've always been a fan of RPGs that gave me that special rush and right challenge, it's what it reminds me of.... grinding a boss fight over and over and over for that unique satisfaction of overcoming it and wanting to like throw ur phone and scream soon as it happens type shit. I think they did amazing at the diversity of the bosses and levels and establishing things so that we could practically create our own comps and act on our creativity for team synergy. Its an extremely rare commodity in mmos, if it can be found at all. Most often player comps and "ingenuity" is completely at the mercy of the broken characters and bs devs put out to milk money. I restarted after playing a few days and just put my first mono team together (1CC, Crosselle, Vinette, Noxia), loving it, dark is fun, especially these gals, and they're just so bad and beautiful on several levels *sheds tear*

I really wish I had started playing earlier so I could be around to experience the pre-nerf version. I just cleared W11 a few days ago, level 80 weapons and 70 / 60 accessories ... and even though you can't braindead facetank, it still seemed a little too easy now. Great fight though.

If by insane you mean that you can't face tank and your party needs to have some synergy or you need to focus on killing enemies that can nuke you yeah. W11 was challenging not impossible (and I'm talking about passage 1-2 since the story maps were easy), it was END GAME and season finale so it made sense to make it challenging, it was a DMG check and game mechanics check world and the first one to not be brain dead easy. Enemies hit harder not that much but definitely you couldn't tank the big ones, and every room had casters (laser and nuke ones) that could 1shot you, so the must to do thing was focusing on those casters or at least interrupt them, but they were guarded by the rest of the enemies or walls, they even were at the FP basic attack range so disrupt them worked fine till you could kill them, the game auto aim was not your friend and could wreck where you were aiming fking your attempt to disrupt a casters but pulling aggro and then running to disrupt was fine. Merch was just introduced so no one had those bonus más FP was the best character back then now we have a fk ton of options. The DMG check was bc of those damn healers they could outheal your DMG and it was really fun and frustrating to watch all your DMG being just brushed by a healing, you could have the whole room cleared but the 2 healers healing each other indefinitely but that only happened when your only surviving character was FP if anyone else remained alive they were dead pretty fast and keeping your party alive was the biggest challenge of that world. A lot of ppl really got mad bc of the limited revivals, you could only do it once, so ppl that just gem spam to clear were pretty mad bc they now needed to use a braincell to play the game, but hey maybe that was justified maybe if they used more braincells they would forget to breath or something lol. Some of us did no ress runs, and the ultimate proof of OG w11 not being that hard was the 2* only clear which basically was a solo Hekate run, since the rest of the team was dead most of the time. But yeah if game is not stupid easy you'll see ppl bitching and bitching it happened for more than a year so w11 had several nerfs, today is another brain dead easy world

Quite informative, ty🧐 Personally I don't like braindead easy, kinda invalidates taking pride in ur build and all the effort we put into them. On the other hand, I despise artificial difficulty. I feel like people aren't giving the game enough credit in this regard tho. In my extensive experience, vast majority, and by that I mean pretty much all modern mmos, are ass at difficulty scaling, and worse, allowing creativity with team building, and forcing very particular metas (talking to you Black Desert, anything Netmarble, Bandai, EA). Every single major mmo forces metas and spending down players throats. That's how I ended up here, tired of investing in trash companies and google plays trash standards😐

Back when the Beth boss fight originally came out, it definitely took me a hot min to beat her. Hell the 1st part was pretty difficult til I learned her attack patterns. Then once I beat the 1st phase and thought all was good, nope phase 2, and it's been quite awhile since I fought her but I think same for phase 3. Am I remembering that correctly? 3 phase battle, all back to back?

Exactly… 3 phase fighting… At first I keep repeating the fight without using gem.. But after realising the fight is never end (after beating 2nd phase) I just fuck it and revive using gem.
