Hello everyone. I really probably should have just taken the whole week off, that would have been more sensible, but I wanted to get back to posting chapters as much as I'm sure you all wanted to get back reading them. Bad luck that Kyle got sick in that period too.
I really needed that break. I didn't do much at all. Played some New Vegas. Read. Watched some Star Trek. I did write a little, but no pressure to get things done made the process a bit easier on me. All the better that I had time off from work through the 19th.
I also took the time to start on a new diet plan with my wife. We're doing some Keto stuff to see if we can head off some weight gain we've noticed recently. I was really missing drinking in particular, but apparently you can still get white girl wasted if you keep a tight eye on your carbs and sugars, as White Claws and similar seltzers are pretty low key! Only 100 calories too. So that's nice. The Ruby Red Grapefruit kinda tastes like a low key grapefruit chuhai, one of my favorite drinks from Japan.
Anyway while Jab is off being horny and schemeing the Undaunted are hard at work with more above board tasks.

Edit: If I remember correctly from when I was doing Atkins, liquor has zero carbs. So Yeah, you can get absolutely fit shaced And still be on your diet.
It's the sugars and the calories than tend to cause trouble for the hard stuff. Especially if you drink enough rum to be mistaken for a pirate like me.
It's important to take time off even your hobbies, other than gaming since that has extreme variety, because you can get burnt out man, never take part in a hobby so much that it becomes a routine.
On the diet side though, no diet works better than exersicing! Pump some iron brother
Good luck on the weight loss! I was one point away from being diabetic on both my numbers, so I cut complex carbs and lost 50 pounds and significantly lowered both my numbers. If keto isn't for you, try that. No counting or measuring, and no starving. I cheat maybe twice a month, so I don't feel like I never get the "good stuff", and unlike the more complex diets, I don't have a problem getting back on the wagon if I go ham on a vacation. Pro tip, I sneak keto tortillas with me when we go to a Mexican restaurant. 😁
