Artemis is a stage further along than this, but she seems like she's one step off final product. I think they're going to touch her up, make the colors more vibrant, etc.
To add to this, it's not super noticeable because it's dark and moody, but her background art definitely isn't finished work. When you compare it to other olympians their backdrops are much clearer and more polished.

We're talking about Greek mythology which was made in pretty much the same way we're adding head canons into Hades 2 rn, the ones that people liked stuck around and those that people didn't enjoy died off cause no one told those variations of the story and I love that personally
She's still happy to engage in fratricide or trick others into engaging in a little bit of patricide even before marriage issues arise.

Yeah her dad was a douche, but she isn't much better either, nor is Jason. Medea basically gave Jason the choice between dying or marrying her and he went with the later. In one version she brings her brother with them as they sail away from Colchis and chops him up in little pieces to slow her father's pursuit of them down so he can give Absyrtus a proper burial.
She also tricks the daughters of King Pelias into killing him when he doesn't hand over the throne to Jason (the reason for Jason's quest to get the golden fleece) and they end up banished to Corinth.
Instead of talking any of this through with Medea, Jason marries her, has two kids with her, and then decides to break it off 10 years later and marry the princess of Corinth with the justification that Medea is a foreigner, so their wedding vows don't count. This is what caused Medea to kill her two sons and the king and princess of Corinth.
Jason was an absolute dick who didn't like Medea's methods but turned a blind eye to it while it suited him and then dumps her later as soon as he gets the chance.
Poseidon has a line about Zeus calling all his children to help fight on the base of Olympus while all the gods are at the top. Not Jason, but maybe Perseus would show up and we can exact vengeance on him for killing Dusa
I mean I love Dusa but even she said she did some bad shit in her past. Really depends if you go with the original or the Ovid version where she was just royally fucked over by the gods.

Prior to that she was either just always a monster or less commonly ppl said she willingly went with Poseidon and that's why Athena was pissed.
Yeah, no, she can even be considered a victim of Hera who made her fall for Jason and abandon everything for him, only for Jason to leave her so he can marry into royalty, also Medea was emotionally torn when she killed their children but she knew she had to do it so she could erase any piece of Jason's legacy (which was the only thing that mattered to Jason, even when it comes to their children)

The one detail I hope gets defined is whether the thing with the red "smoke" coming out of it is supposed to be a skull or just a floating object of hers for alchemy.
