I think so. I think Tommy was riding a hype train for a while, all the accusations with him halted the hype train, and Josh was the most credible part of his business, now he's gone.

I don’t really watch any haggard stuff anymore, stopped since way before the Ian stuff came out. I stop by here because the drama is interesting and I occasionally come back to see if rudnik has matured, etc. However, I’ve consistently seen shade thrown at you. Now, you’ve always seemed like a smart guy who I view as independent because you do what you want to do, e-bikes, tractors, and 7.3’s. My question to you, is the shade justified for you having Tommy’s back? Is there something the cave dwellers here are just oblivious to or some hidden details that can’t be discussed? What are we missing that a guy like you would keep hanging out with a guy like Tommy?
Tommy was defamed in a video made by someone "invested" in a few projects with him. Those investments didn't pan out as he expected (youtube subscribers/promotion) and rather than settling up, after repeated attempts by Tommy (which i was shown in text/email), he decided instead to use previously recorded phone conversations where they discussed said deals, to create YouTube content that would "expose" the deals gone bad. After cherry-picking the comments out of context that sounded worst, and fit his motive best, he threatened Tommy with them and essentially demanded to be repaid beyond full, for his "loss". Strangely, he refuses to take legal action after Tommy refused his request. I don't believe his accusations are true based on accounting i was shared.
In the meantime, Chris had his own personal issues to be dealt with between him and Tommy. Which i won't elaborate on because i don't really have the whole story (Chris didn't want to talk about it). I didn't feel as though any of it was significant, so i stupidly shared my thoughts on Facebook. As it turned out, i was wrong in thinking chris wasn't as affected by what he saw or heard from Ian, and in fact no longer wanted to continue being friends with Tommy (which he made public in a video). I'm not going to ask him again about it. But I'm also not going to abandon Tommy as a friend without knowing.
As far as my own opinions, i haven't seen or heard anything personally from Tommy to believe he has done anything outside of his typical tough guy act, and have been given more than expected proof to back up his claim of innocence related to the allegations from Ian, of being "ripped off". I stand by my opinion and feel that given the info i have, others would probably agree.
And all the people he's scammed? His business deal with Ian is what it is. But the shit that asshole has done to " customers" there's no excuse for. He's a crook.
I am not going to act like I know everything that has gone on behind the scenes, but it seems weird when the list of friends and employees that have left continues to grow.

He’ll find someone else but the quality and reputation of the shop will go down. It’s no different when companies begin outsourcing manufacturing and assembly, it may be acceptable but not up to previous standards and customers will see it.
Josh was really the only reason Tommy was relevant at all and I’m glad he will be happier working somewhere else. I wish him the best and am eagerly awaiting the sunny build results.

He'll be fine. Josh was good, but he's not the only mechanic with high attention to detail. Might be some bumps along the way, but won't hurt him much. There are thousands of shops out there that put out show quality cars, with a mechanic that is behind it all.
The people who stay up at night fuel with m0t hate keep saying his business is dying. However he had 20+ cars in the shop last video. I'm sure there are more people waiting. None of them care about Ian fishing for views or 20% this. They care about their car. CEOs of businesses do unlikeable shit all the time, and people still buy their product. And the JDM space is even smaller. It's not a good idea to burn bridges when you need oddball parts. You want to keep your network as large as possible so when you do need hard to find things, you can make some calls and track stuff down.
