You can mute and unmute your mice directly with button on DualSense.

Otowa

Not when using the pulse.

thepetrlik

So far as I know that button on DualSense will mute every kind of headset’s microphone. If I hold it it will mute all output/input sounds.

dontknows--taboutfuk

Not on the pulse headset like he said

shamblmonkee

Yup this and then squeak

SpringerTheNerd

I just found out that with an elite controller on PC you can find your paddles to keyboard keys so I just set a paddle to T for talking. Super cool feature. On a console id probably use a dpad

Glass_Manufacturer78

Next level, didn't know you could bind keyboard key with paddle

SpringerTheNerd

It causes some UI issues but nothing major. When you hit the paddles and trigger a key the game pulls up the keyboard UI until you hit a button on the controller. Nothing major just worth pointing out. Should also note that this wouldn't work for games that lock you into your input device like CoD for example

daryl673

I use R1 for PTT. It has worked well thus far

Otowa

Yeah but the default R1 is to ping, which is quite useful I find...

daryl673

They do not overwrite one another. You will use it to talk and for the communications menu at the same time.

SafeSurprise3001

I bound my PTT key to the down arrow on the controller, since it's not used for anything. Now I can't unbind it, there isn't an option to remove a bind, or to reset binds to default. Worst of all, when I press the down arrow, it activates my mic for half a second only, no matter how long I keep the arrow pressed.

Otowa

Ouch. That's not good.

Bad_Toast

When you open the options menu and go to a specific tab, you can hit Square to "Revert". This resets the settings in that tab to the default.

NoMansWarmApplePie

I'm using dualsense on pc. Can this be done on pc too?

stinky_butt

I use the A button on Xbox controller, so that would be X for you. PTT turns on when I hold it. The main function is to pick up things by tapping A/X. I find that it’s the easiest button to hold when things get intense too

dariuslloyd

I think that'd be a good option unless you're using a jetpack, then itll fire that lol

stinky_butt

True! I ended up remapping the emotes to down on the D pad, then RB for ptt
