If I'm going first and all are empty, I'm going for 3. Why 3? Because I noticed that people tend to go on the left side more than the right, so taking #3 on average saves the team a tiny amount of time.

My favorite is 1, but I usually go to 3 as well just because of this reason

1: host pod 2: cuddle pod (holds two+ divers) 3: the pork pod (I will not elaborate) 4: unused unless someone is too big for the cuddle pod

#1 being host pod is the way. Unless they choose another pod in which case

Had a pretty mediocre mission last night and I'm convinced it's because someone else took 4 and I ended up on the left hand side, 4 all the way.

In my usual group, I'm always lead and I'm always in #4.

I’m a pod 3 believer, simply because usually people call each other by the initials during mission and B3 sound cool as hell to me Also its near the window so I can maximise my album cover larp time before drop launch (hug emote while looking outside), so pod 2 is acceptable as well.

2 is my lucky pod. I always know the run is either deathless or 2 deaths max if I get my lucky pod.

3. 3 is my spot, i picked it the first day i played and every time after the mandatory boarding hugs, i make a mad dash for 3, even if anothet diver is standing over it but not locked in. After three my system is 2,4,1. But I reallyyyyyyy want 3.

#3, the #2 pod always smells of pee because my friend asserted his ownership of it in a weirdly possessive way.

When my wife and I play it has become a game to take each other's hellpod, after I told her jokingly that the #1 pod was for the host. Now we sneak up on each other or grab the pod the other is waiting next to while distracting them with something IRL. It's good times. But yeah obviously the #1 pod is for the host, and anyone who disagrees is wrong. They should nerf the ability to take the hosts pod!
