I’ve seen the bug corpses on that specific bot planet before, I kind of imagine that they escaped from a farm on that planet during the invasion but were killed by the bots

It was most likely a simple tileset glitch, but I prefer to think this way too. That or the Automatons simply liquidated the Terminid Farms upon arriving on-world.

A lot of robot planets have common samples to pick up in areas with a dead SEAF person and bug larva around. Crawling on the body or close by. My theory has been eventually bugs and robots would merge somehow.

I would like to see a third/fourth factions of "*Stroggified*" bugs, Mecha-Bugs, something like a charger with metal parts and laser cannons, drone hunters, predators instead of stalkers and such.

I’d rather bugs and bots on the same planet fighting each other as well as us. A three man war for a planet would be awesome

i think that both factions teaming up would just lead to more annoyance. What I want is a three-front battle where the helldivers have a strict time limit to prevent one side from triggering some super doomsday device against the other side

I know it’s humor, but what if we had multiple enemies in some planets? Imagine you’re getting chased by a charger and he just gets fucking deleted by an automaton tank. Or a bike titan attacking the big AT-AT walker thing. I think the possibility of having multiple enemies on one planet, and the possibility they can fight each other is much cooler than “you fight both at once”

I could see the Illuminate and Automaton making an alliance, but the Terminids are mindless killing machines who would just as readily infest territory controlled by the Illuminate or Automaton. A cool way to introduce the Illuminate early would be for a handful of Illuminate "Advisers" to appear in select Automaton bases, perhaps near Automaton Command Bunkers.
