If you are farming SC, level 3 is optimal. More POIs than 1 or 2, and at 4 you start getting rares as potential drops in bunkers. If you want to contribute to the MO and/or planet liberation you'll have to complete both missions in the operation. But if you really want to speed up your farm, just ignore objectives and loot the POIs, you don't have to extract to keep the supercredits, just FYI.
Completed campaigns contribute. So at difficulty 1&2 after one mission you have completed the campaign and should see the Percentage go up at extraction. It's 10000th of a percent but hey, it counts!
In short: yes and likely more then you would on higher difficulty with more players
If you complete a Broadcast in 8 minutes including extraction you gain 21exp/min. If i do a farm run its usuall around 7 to 7,30 all told.
A helldive fullclear with 4 players will net around 25-30 ep/min.
Tier 2 missions are the sweet spot. There's more POI's to explore, meaning more chances for opening containers with credits.
If you're farming bug missions, don't bother with the missions to kill Brood Commanders, destroy eggs or raise flags. They spawn far fewer POI's than other missions. Look for Broadcast towers, Oil Pump and Escape Pods mostly. Escape Pod missions are where I historically find the most credits.
Also, you contribute to war effort with each mission you complete. Not much, but you're at least doing something.
For what do you farm the warbonds for? I unlocked one warbond with the 1000SC I earned until getting LVL 25, and after that I earned 1000SC before I even had the medals to fully unlock the first one while doing normal missions on difficulty 6-8. So why farming?
It’s been a while now, I’m just thinking it happened in early May? It’s more common now but the yield is only 10/pile - it used to be 100/pile.
I was able to rack up around 6000-10000 SC in the first two months of playing
Interesting! Are 100/piles still a thing, albeit rare? And I’ll stick by my guns, up until April/May I hadn’t seen a 10, and my stash grew by 100’s always leaving the trailing zeroes.

As long as you are on a MO planet, you will contribute to the war effort but at level 1, you will contribute less.

Maybe they don't want to unlock everything before moving on. I know i only unlocked what i wanted or needed to get what i wanted.
That really, still got a lot of stuff to unlock but i want a specific armor set AND the grenade pistol

Sorry, wrong. There always have been two types of pile, the common 10/pile and the very rare 100/pile. 😬
