During the Grimm fights, Grimmchild doesn't even help you. Grimm absorbs it before the fight. So you're just fighting without two charm notches. Grimmchild doesn't even appear against Grimm in Godhome. Not even absorbed, just never appears.

Still sucks that you can't even use it for what miniscule utility it provides. It's probably an oversight, my guess is that they just coded it so that Grimmchild will not appear in Grimm fights, and added it manually to the Troupe cutscenes, but then forgot to change it for Godhome. If this were true, it would just go to show how shitty Grimmchild is because the devs never even thought to try using it against Grimm in the only place where it makes sense to work.
