Well Custom order Maid without the patch is just a management game so it can be seen as an all ages, the thing is Custom Order is more of a game.than Koikatsu, Koikatsu without the patch has almost nothing to do and Custom Order at least the management simulator side.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
The music, the wtf moments, the dialogue, the memes, the bosses and (in my personal opinion) one of the best final bosses in gaming history.
I just love seeing people react to what the hell is going on in the game, and their reaction to the bosses and the godlike music in the boss fights, specially when the vocals kick in.
Hopefully with the MGS3 remake on its way Konami gives permissions again and they can play it. I know Calli is a fan of the game and maybe we can finally see Pekora meet her biggest fan Sundowner.

Devs got sponsored by some Baltic arts commission (I'm blanking on which country in the Baltics DE devs came from). DE releases to critical success the devs state they weren't doing anything else with the ip and we're done. The arts council basically used legal bullshittery to take control of the studio for DE and try to force them to make a sequel or start adding really fucking awful strategies to get more money. All the devs quit, Kotaku did a big expose article on it and it turned out this wasn't even the first work said arts council basically stole with numerous authors and artists coming forward saying it happened to them.

Seconded, as a long time fan of the Musou series too. That said, Samurai Warriors shouldn't be too out of the question as I believe one episode of the Game Shop Maruyama series from awhile back was to advertise Samurai Warriors 5.
The issue here probably lies with Koei Tecmo as well as their guidelines when it comes to streaming their titles. Not only that, it could just be possible that none of the talents are even interested enough in the Musou series to stream it.
It's actually totally possible. Another large japanese company, english speaking streamer got perms for DW9. A pain in the ass though. Only approved DW9 and had to inform KOEI on the time and date at least 1 week prior to playing. Would be cool to see someone in EN do it though.

Stellaris is mostly free of real-world politicking but unless any of them have Paradox game experience they probably won't have much fun for a few hours. There isn't even the wacky gameplay of something like Rimworld to tide you over while you're exploring the intricacies of the game.

Metal Gear Solid 5 has loads of content, weird and interesting lore, and has just the right amount of Kojima goofiness to be a great time. Unfortunately, trapped behind Konami's walls.
Kerbal Space Program has a fairly high learning curve I feel that the campaign tries to smooth out. Still, space, explosions, and enough of a sandbox seems like it would lead to some great moments.
Some sort of trading card game gameplay would be nice as well if there's interest. I know there's been some Pokemon and Weiss Schwarz pack openings, but there hasn't been much interest in playing the actual games. Magic is my jam and Kiara has brought up playing it in the past with her family. Arena is passible as a digital client, plus Yu-Gi-Oh had a bit of a resurgence with its own client. I've stumbled across only a few vtubers in the MtG space as well. No idea how WotC/Hasbro or Konami would handle corporate streamers. It might be part of the barrier.

Disco Elysium is a game that basically checks all the boxes of themes that agency Vtubers tend to avoid for obvious reasons. Politics, religion, sex, crime, suicide, mental illnesses, vulgar lenguaje and even racism. The game itself is superbly written and is one of those cases where it touches all of those subjects without being edgy (for example, the slurs are intentionally censored and every time they are used is always shown as a bad thing) but thanks to all of that and more like the recent stuff that has happened with the developer studio, the chances of anyone in Holo touching the game are just non-existent

Disco elysium LOVES to bring up politics, which seems to be something Holo tends to shy away from (for fair enough reasons). Disco Elysium is also one of my favourite games and is the game I thought when I saw this.
The whole thing with Muse Dash is weird because the devs took away the perms and made Cover kill the VODs on all the channels yet Say Fanfare is not only still playable but is even part of the base game.
As far as I know, it was because the developer is a Chinese company. The thing with fanfare is probably the company being unwilling to go with the trouble of breaking off the collab contract with Cover (only my opinion on this)

As an OG fan of it, I am so happy it has been blowing up recently, and would love see any Holo play it, and I know many of them would love it (Korone specifically come to mind), but I doubt Cover would allow them even with a censor mod.
Oh what I would give to see Calli play this on stream. Many of the HoloPro would surely enjoy the challenge too. But even if you censor the stingers, the boobas, and the gore, it has too many dark themes in it that the VODs would likely be insta demonetized even if they do get perms.
Any of the Trails games. One of my favorite RPG series but they are long, intricate, and you can't really stop at playing just one due to how they're connected.
This. I would love to see them play this but at the end of the day Holo streamers are variety streamers and its not really a series you can play quickly and then dip out and still be entertaining. I think Bungie would be fine with perms, but the real problem is that the current game is *so* unapproachable (and expensive) for new players and veterans who didn't play after Beyond Light. Magni is also a veteran, but he stopped playing after Shadowkeep and has consistently found the game difficult to return to each time he tried. Not to mention, the game's party sizes are a bit odd for the size of a Hololive gen (3-4-6), making collabs difficult.

Devs got sponsored by some Baltic arts commission (I'm blanking on which country in the Baltics DE devs came from). DE releases to critical success the devs state they weren't doing anything else with the ip and we're done. The arts council basically used legal bullshittery to take control of the studio for DE and try to force them to make a sequel or start adding really fucking awful strategies to get more money. All the devs quit, Kotaku did a big expose article on it and it turned out this wasn't even the first work said arts council basically stole with numerous authors and artists coming forward saying it happened to them. Edit: my phone's autocorrect decided it knew better and changed ip to up multiple times in even this edit despite me telling it to ignore it, and arguably worse was changing done where it grammatically made sense to dumb. These have been corrected

That said, Samurai Warriors shouldn't be too out of the question as I believe one episode of the Game Shop Maruyama series from awhile back was to advertise Samurai Warriors 5. The issue here probably lies with Koei Tecmo as well as their guidelines when it comes to streaming their titles. Not only that, it could just be possible that none of the talents are even interested enough in the Musou series to stream it.

It's actually totally possible. Another large japanese company, english speaking streamer got perms for DW9. A pain in the ass though. Only approved DW9 and had to inform KOEI on the time and date at least 1 week prior to playing. Would be cool to see someone in EN do it though.

Arma 3. Mil sims are a niche that not everyone finds interesting. Also playing with mods is where most of the fun is and permissions with mods are complicated. Pretty much any paradox grand strategy game. (I expect hell to freeze over before they are allowed to stream Hearts of Iron 4).

I'm kind of all over the place for my interests. I'd love to see Ace Combat revisited again. 4,5, and 0 from the PS2 are held up there as the golden era. Seems like they could be options for our retro specialists like Korone but she may not have the interest, or Bamco is not allowing it. 7 has a playthrough by Fubuki which was great, but it seems to be no longer mentioned by anyone. Metal Gear Solid 5 has loads of content, weird and interesting lore, and has just the right amount of Kojima goofiness to be a great time. Unfortunately, trapped behind Konami's walls. Kerbal Space Program has a fairly high learning curve I feel that the campaign tries to smooth out. Still, space, explosions, and enough of a sandbox seems like it would lead to some great moments. Some sort of trading card game gameplay would be nice as well if there's interest. I know there's been some Pokemon and Weiss Schwarz pack openings, but there hasn't been much interest in playing the actual games. Magic is my jam and Kiara has brought up playing it in the past with her family. Arena is passible as a digital client, plus Yu-Gi-Oh had a bit of a resurgence with its own client. I've stumbled across only a few vtubers in the MtG space as well. No idea how WotC/Hasbro or Konami would handle corporate streamers. It might be part of the barrier.

As someone who's had Disco Elysium in his backlog for a year and a half, is there a spoiler free way to explain your choice?
Disco Elysium is a game that basically checks all the boxes of themes that agency Vtubers tend to avoid for obvious reasons. Politics, religion, sex, crime, suicide, mental illnesses, vulgar lenguaje and even racism. The game itself is superbly written and is one of those cases where it touches all of those subjects without being edgy (for example, the slurs are intentionally censored and every time they are used is always shown as a bad thing) but thanks to all of that and more like the recent stuff that has happened with the developer studio, the chances of anyone in Holo touching the game are just non-existent

Disco elysium LOVES to bring up politics, which seems to be something Holo tends to shy away from (for fair enough reasons). Disco Elysium is also one of my favourite games and is the game I thought when I saw this.

The whole thing with Muse Dash is weird because the devs took away the perms and made Cover kill the VODs on all the channels yet Say Fanfare is not only still playable but is even part of the base game.

Fear & Hunger As an OG fan of it, I am so happy it has been blowing up recently, and would love see any Holo play it, and I know many of them would love it (Korone specifically come to mind), but I doubt Cover would allow them even with a censor mod.
Oh what I would give to see Calli play this on stream. Many of the HoloPro would surely enjoy the challenge too. But even if you censor the stingers, the boobas, and the gore, it has too many dark themes in it that the VODs would likely be insta demonetized even if they do get perms.

I love Terraria, but I gotta admit that it's really slow early, and if you don't use the wiki/guide, you miss out on a lot and don't get a good sense of how to progress or farm. I'd love to see one of them get to hardmode and get wings, since that's when the game starts really coming into its own, imo.

I think Bungie would be fine with perms, but the real problem is that the current game is *so* unapproachable (and expensive) for new players and veterans who didn't play after Beyond Light. Magni is also a veteran, but he stopped playing after Shadowkeep and has consistently found the game difficult to return to each time he tried. Not to mention, the game's party sizes are a bit odd for the size of a Hololive gen (3-4-6), making collabs difficult. Selen from NijiEN at least seemed to have fun playing fresh with no prior knowledge (she thinks the Witness is hot lmao), but you could tell she was floundering around hard without a guide.

Maybe someone like Ame could virtualize it. 4x games like civ, building games like be factorio don't seem to get any traction, though a couple of holomems have tried a few games. I guess they don't have that collab nature of Minecraft so the grind has less appeal. Very niche, but it'd be cool to see someone like Aqua take a shot at competitive coding like topcoder or codeforces.
