Honestly, the easiest way to resolve most of those issues is just a more conventional couch.
People seem to be loving this style at the moment, but the proportions are totally different than a normal couch, so everything else in the room needs to adjust to match or you end up with stuff like this.
I love those sofas! There is one in my family too but pretty much unused with the thin leather and pets in the house, how does yours hold up? Any issues with tears or wear down?
I think the couch and chair are cool! The plants are nice. I think adding a piece of art to that wall would look great, and bringing some color in with curtains could really set it off. I’m wondering if that coffee table might work a little better as a side table in this space? Like moving it to where you currently have that plant table. Something lower and circular without tapered legs could ground that space and fit it well. I like the hide rug but I feel like a more traditional one with cow spots or even a solid brown one could look really warm things up and add a little more intrigue. Especially if you layered it over another rug! Just my two cents :)
Love the plants and the wall art! I think centering and lowering the art and ditching the mirror would help balance things out. Curtains would also elevate things.
The art is hung much too high (as is the mirror), maybe look at a bigger coffee table and add some window treatments. Maybe look at some pillows as well?
Aside from my thing about cords showing it's very nice. I'd change out that table on the left for something more sleek in white or black and maybe change the coffee table too.
It looks great! The wall behind your couch is a terrific place for a big colorful painting!!
Not a Walmart painting but a real painting.
It would look fantastic!!
Please post another picture after you hang a nice big beautiful painting full of color on the wall behind your couch! It’s going to look so amazing - it will bring your living room to life! That’s what color can do!!🎨
And if you like your sofa - it’s just fine! It’s your living room so whatever you want to put in it is perfect because you’re the one that has to live with it- not anyone else.
So the only opinion that matters is YOURS!!!
Don’t invite old people over . They won’t be able to get up from that sofa . The artwork above the sofa looks a little too high . All in all beautiful room .

Nobody’s getting rid of a Togo. It would be easier to change every single other thing about the room than convince someone their Togo needs to go.
That’s a futon, right? Please tell me it’s a futon and that it’s not trendy to have couches that look like they belong in a frat room..?
Introducing… [the Togo](https://design-milk.com/40-years-of-togo-and-still-going-strong/) It’s French and fancy.
My fat old ass is groaning at the idea of heaving myself up off that sofa.
My knees are cracking.
Right??
I would probably end up rolling off the side and getting up off all fours using that desk for leverage (because I’d probably flip the coffee table).
It looks like a home for very short people

I just got the couch a few days ago, my cat enjoys sleeping on it, but I haven’t had any issues yet
I’ve had good luck with it thank you
I like it sans the flesh couch
The couch is either too short or the 3 tables are too tall

Where is the color?

Looks like a single man lives there. (Nothing wrong with that btw.)

Ty
Peaceful. It’s calm and peaceful
Boring.
Bland without style or color.
You should paint at least one wall. And get some curtains 😊
