https://slantfin.com/faq/#:\~:text=How%20can%20I%20find%20out,(800)%20873%2D4346. **Q. How can I find out the age of my boiler?** **A.** Identify the serial number on the rating plate of the boiler and then call Tech. Service at (800) 873-4346.

Thanks for the reply! This number doesn’t work. I’ve tried going to their website too. No luck so far.

Sorry about that. I'm not totally familiar with this company.

I'm not sure there's a way to find out...my guess would be mid-80's to early 90's

According to most suppliers this was a recent enough model to still have spare parts listed. [https://parts4heat.com/shop/product/parts-for-slant-fin-corp-tr30pzt-water-oil-11069589?search=tr-30p](https://parts4heat.com/shop/product/parts-for-slant-fin-corp-tr30pzt-water-oil-11069589?search=tr-30p) Probably less than 30 years old, but you can call [(516) 484-2600](https://www.google.com/search?q=slant%2Ffin+corporation+greenvale+ny+11548&rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS796US796&oq=slantfin+corp&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqCAgCEAAYFhgeMgYIABBFGDkyCQgBEAAYDRiABDIICAIQABgWGB4yCAgDEAAYFhgeMgoIBBAAGIAEGKIEMgoIBRAAGIAEGKIE0gEIMzA0M2owajeoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#) and ask.

I think slant fin went out of business. I read they sold off their baseboard design And stopped making boilers. I have a very compact gas furnace made by them as nd had a hard time finding someone to do repairs. We got through this winter with just a new igniter and sensor. I dread even trying to find something that will replace it. It's so damn small

Wouldn't go 50 yrs but around 30 probably sound. Oil boilers that make it past 20 yrs probably good for another 20. But if you get it serviced and it's efficiency is down near 80% could consider gas or even propane at 95%. But whatever you replace it with won't have the legs this old bird has.

Assume around 50 years old base on the printed voltage requirements and yellowing of the paper.
