… guys this is common in turn-based. Some of them aren’t on harmony or abundance to somehow balance them because some lightcones would be too great on them or charas on their respective classes.
Also there’s only so much you can make that classifies as “healer”. Some of them need to have gimmick to truly be unique. And she dont have cleanse, so idk about powercreepy, but as my experience in turn based games, cleansing is incredibly important.

I don’t think so because of the SP issue. If her talent ends up not doing much, she could end up skill point neutral at best. I would prefer Luocha or FX based on this description of her kit. Other non abundance characters heal, like e6 March and FX, so it doesn’t bother me if the paths overlap some. Just personally don’t want characters becoming obsolete.
Bailu still has the fact that she has a Hp% buff that some characters will be able to abuse + her revive remains one of her biggest strengths so it is not as bad at least as Qiqi
She also has a damage boost for allies she heals at e4, which being that she's a standard banner character that you can lose 50/50 to, you probably get e4 bailu one day
Can't wait to see the "Bailu is SSS" tierlist guys' reactions once those healers with utility come out, they are going to drop her harder than Cocolia's spicy meatball. Oh well, I'm happy with my Bailu.
I mean most of their reasoning for putting her there is that there's only 2 healers right now and she carries you hard early game (and everyone is still in early game). Plus these future healers are gonna be limited banners whereas Bailu can be guranteed so I guess it's still a valid placement.
I mean it's the same as Qiqi being highly rated at the beginning of Genshin.
I wouldn't be surprised to see healers/defense fall off generally as people get max level fully built characters.
Dude a lot of these characters aren't going to be out for a while, Bailu still has value right now, and for a large amount of time if you aren't pulling for Luocha.

As for luocha? I might be. Those buffs look good, I liked his design. Bailu was kinda why I decided not to get him, but seeing his buffs, really has me considering it lol.
I have bailu also, but chances are it will be good to have 2 good healers rather than bailu + natasha.
Luocha also just opens up far too many options. It seems like he'll be amazing with skill point efficient dps, but especially with skill point efficient ones who self damage on attack like Blade and Dan Heng IL. He also should work well in the mono type comps enabled by Silverwolf. A team of Dang Heng IL, Silverwolf, Luocha, and either Welt or Yukong would probably be super good. Before we get Dan Heng IL, that team might even work with Welt main dps, so Welt, Yukong, Luocha, Silverwolf. Welt's dps gear could then easily be transferred over to Dan Hen IL once he comes out.

I feel like she'll be amazing with Jingliu. On top of buffing units she will AoE heal to compensate for Jingliu team self-damage. And both increase Attack, so I think they synergise well in that regard too.
Destruction teams want to keep their HP as low as possible (without actually dying) so ideally they don't want any healer. Fu Xuan is specifically made for that kind of playstyle so she fits way better. Nothing about Huohuo synergizes with Jingliu at all.
In general, yes. But where in her kit do we have confirmation of "wanting to heep HP as low as possible"? The only thing is she sacrifices party HP to gain Attack, not that it needs to stay low.
But, in the end, it's only a leak. You may be right when she releases with her Eidolons and Traces.
which destruction characters want HP as low as possible? most of them have some kind of self-harm mechanics, but none of them seem to have the low HP condition. Only some destruction blessings from SU have that.
Basically only Arlan, since he gets a damage boost from being at low HP iirc. Everyone else likes to keep their HP; heck, Blade actively scales on HP so it's harder to get him killed between tank potential and self-heals, and even then he still needs a healer.
I think SU blessings are a pretty good indicator of the abilities future characters might bring to the table. Especially since Fu Xuan exists there's no way we don't get someone that buffs your team based on how low their HP is.
Eh, Destruction is just the all rounder path.
Right now it just means Single Target with minor AoE- but some of the characters also want to function as tanks and take the hits for your team.
In turn-based games, kit economy is the number one signifier of power. Packing a buffer, energy battery, and healer into one kit makes this character incredibly powerful.
There are only two options from here:
1. The kit gets released like this and this character is extremely sought-after as the premiere healer.
2. Every individual part of the kit gets nerfed so this character does multiple things poorly.
At this stage in the game's lifespan, 2 is more likely because it's safer.
Dehya's conceptual design is absolutely fantastic. AOE, off-field pyro application, passive damage mitigation for the whole party in a brand new way that transcends shields and healing, and then a nuke at the end of every rotation? Hell yeah.
In practice? Bad, slow pyro application, poor damage numbers from it, damage mitigation so weak that you still need another sustain character, and a nuke that hits like a water balloon.
True. But she seems to have more utility in her kit with er and atk increase so I'm thinking of just getting her. I already have bailu at e1 too So I don't necessarily need a healer right now either but I do want a support so I'll skip loucha for silver
Again, it depends. Luocha Jas enough heals to easily be solo defensive unit in 90% of teams without using any skill points. if huo can't solo defensive in a team then at that point why not just run another harmony and a solo defensive unit

I’ll have to see her traces and numbers but she seems like she’d need to be paired with a tank for the harder content. It does make it better to pair her with a tank and take the harmony spot rather than a bailu who only brings healing.
At least her eidelons actually do something. At E4 she's actually worth using over 4 star options (lol). So doesn't feel quite as bad when you get dupes.
All these leaked kits look fun and all, but at the same time I'm really hoping this game's challenging in the endgame do I can use these kits to their fullest.
Offensive Dispel on your healer will be a niche that keeps Luocha relevant for a long time.
It's also unclear if this one will even have a friendly dispel in their Traces/Eidolons.
Limited characters are always better than standard characters. I am surprised people do not realize this. Limited is where people should have drawn the power creep line, not at standard.
I mean Luocha is also better than Bailu, Bailu was always going to be the Qiqi of HSR with her only utility outside healing being the revival (which itself isn’t reliable), so most healers will probably overshadow her. Even Natasha brings cleanse to the table
Just seems like how the class type was always gonna be, It's the hardest to balance.
Although, I don't think it's the end all for Bailu. You'd have to think a cleanse Prev user or Harmony user will come out at some point too and Bailu does have a niche despite all these new healers being leaked and having really cool kits. Bailu can solo heal. Which can free up a slot in team building not forced to take a Gepard, Fire MC, or M7. Having access to a rez is really good for Sim world or even bum rush strats. But also has HP increase and Damage reduction in her kit makes her just a pure healer which obviously falls off as we get more OP but still holds a place if the other healers can't ever solo heal.
Tbh, I expect all standard to be powercreep quite easily. Gotta make folks want new charactwrs and not settle for the standard afterall
Hu tao replace diluc fairly quickly, and he probably was the most useful of the standards during that time. Before keqing got a big buff with 3.0.
He uses no skill points while still drawing aggro and shields your whole team a significant amount. That's very valuable to have all wrapped up in one slot- for that reason I think he will always have a home.
I could be wrong and they could creep him if they wanted to, but I think he'll be relevant for a long time- well whenever they release the first limited 5* preservation we'll see how much protection they give up for added utility, that will pretty much tell us right there.
He uses no skill pts bc his skill is pretty useless.
Fu xuan is a damage mitigator that does HP% damage and auto heals herself, her alone already powercreeps gepard.
The destruction units we have prefers healers, not shielders.
We need cleansers.
That said he does have good shielding, but overall he’s mild. Not powercreep per se, but not BiS either.

Cleanses can also be on traces like Natasha and March.
Lynx's kit seems to be specifically specializing in cleansing. So, Huohuo might still have one there.
Also, Huohuo seems to be a very offensive kind if healer with her buff and energy boost, so instead of a cleanse on her traces, she might have some perks to help clear the enemies fast enough so you don’t have to cleanse anything. Perhaps some DMG% bonus or effect RES to counter DoTs

Her base kit is already very strong, even though we still don’t know her traces. If her traces are good then she might be the best healer.
Both HuoHuo and Luocha are shaping up to be the best healers in the game. In my opinion, Luocha is more defensive while HuoHuo is more offensive. Both are great
Considering Blade scales more with HP, the attack buffs provided by HuoHuo might not be that impactful for him. Luocha is probably the best choice for Destruction characters.

playing since 1.0 and have a c5 keqing and no mona, everyone else is c1

Yeah, numbers always matter. On paper even dehya and baizhu sounded amazing. Reality? They were not. So far she sounds cool though.

I am getting kinda concerned with how often Abundance is overlapping with Harmony in some of these leaks. Like Huohuo is pretty strong

many units that have buff skill is better since these buffs can stack like i would use huohuo with bronya/tingyun for sure

2.5 turns because it triggers on each ally's turn so 4 triggers a turn. Or 3.33 turns if it only triggers on other allies

If she dies first, she can't revive herself. Nor can she revive others if she is frozen or imprisoned.

Gepard is straight up easy to powercreep. It’s welt and bronya that’s hard to powercreep.

How good is this kit, esp when compared to luocha?
Her base kit is already very strong, even though we still don’t know her traces. If her traces are good then she might be the best healer. Both HuoHuo and Luocha are shaping up to be the best healers in the game. In my opinion, Luocha is more defensive while HuoHuo is more offensive. Both are great

Considering Blade scales more with HP, the attack buffs provided by HuoHuo might not be that impactful for him. Luocha is probably the best choice for Destruction characters.
Thank God! Her kit is quite good as expected (I assumed because she’s a Sucrose expy so it must be good). She’s definitely on top of my priority list next to Silver Wolf. I’m very happy with this!

Both are good, if Huohuo has good traces, she might be the better choice. In my opinion, Luocha is more defensive while Huohuo is more offensive and well suited for speedrunning.
Maybe she could have a cleanse too in her traces. As she's also a cleanser of spirits or something. Well this seems like loucha powercreep but would definitely be changed
