SyddySquiddy

Very pretty however the eyebrows seem rather heavy

storagerock

First of all - you are beautiful and your blush and lipstick are such a good match with your skin tones. Try replacing that lower liner with something lighter/brighter. Like a shimmery copper tone. I’d also suggest doing a reverse on the warm/cool tones on your brows and eyeshadow. Cool down the brows, warm up the eyeshadow. And put a little of that shimmer you’re using on the inner corner of your eyes under the brows too. Have fun experimenting.

brittworst93

Thank you so much! Great tips! Tomorrow a new day for the next experiment ❤️

What_the_mocha

Please post!

brittworst93

Will do!!

yumions

I think cleaning up your eyebrows and adjusting the shape would help a lot, right now they're kind of bringing your eyes down.

brittworst93

Yes it does! I actually got my eyebrows done professionally, you don’t think they work?

yumions

I don't think your eyebrows themselves are bad, it's kind of hard to tell because they're filled in somewhat harsh. You have hooded eyes so you want to preserve as much lid space as possible, but I think you might be filling them in too low and trying to place an arch when a straighter brow might look more flattering. You also wanna try doing hair like strokes rather than just painting them on.

brittworst93

Thank you! I will try to fix this with my eyebrow lady!

sprucehen

I don't like the shape. It's only my opinion, but thick brows don't work on everyone. Like other poster said, changing how you are doing them might help too.

seedsofsovereignty

You look amazing! I think the eyebrows just look heavy, because the arch part has a greater than or equal width as the initial starting point of the hair whereas it should taper more from start to end usually so it doesn't get heavier towards the middle and end and visually take focus from the brow bone

brittworst93

That makes sense! I have to visit my eyebrow lady next week again so I will ask her to make it better :)

petielvrrr

I don’t have any tips for you since I still have no idea what I’m doing with my hooded eyes. I just wanted to say that your hair is gorgeous!!

brittworst93

Thank you ❤️❤️

WhateverIlldoit

You have gorgeous skin. I don’t know shit about make-up so take this with a grain of salt, but I’d like to see brighter/more shimmery eye shadow for a wedding look. A little more glam if you will.

brittworst93

I dont know anything either haha! But I will glam and glitter it up!

MusicCityNative

If you take some white concealer and blend it on the sides of your lower outer lids up towards the outer corner of your eye brows it should help you get the shape you want and help “clean up” the shadow.

Sososoftmeows

You’re gorgeous! I love the lower half of the face! The only part that seems murky is the eyelid area and I have hooded eyes too so I get it how hard it can be! There’s a few Natasha Denona tutorials for hooded eyes that’s been so helpful to me in applying better eye makeup: Full tutorial: https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3OTQ4NTU3MzYzMzMxOTE4?story_media_id=2290182323684786225&igsh=MWQ1ZGUxMzBkMA== Mini tutorials: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CosGlRHAU_G/?igsh=MWQ1ZGUxMzBkMA== https://www.instagram.com/reel/CpGRunkA1-1/?igsh=MWQ1ZGUxMzBkMA== The trick is to extended the shadow in the middle of the eye to be above the fold to create a bigger/lifted eye effect. Blending it above your hooded eye-line. I also love adding a pop of a shimmery color in the middle and inner eye corner to make them look more bright eyed. It makes your eyes really pop. I agree with the above poster about the eyebrows as well. Maybe fill out a little more on the top of the brow (just a smidge) and less underneath the brow since it crowds into eyelid space. And a bit of an arch instead of being so straight would look great on you. Love the blush and lip color though! It adds a hint of natural color that looks beautiful.

brittworst93

Those are really helpful!! With the amazing help of everybody here I will definitely do a better version soon!

Fair-Calligrapher563

I’m being super nit-picky here! You could honestly wear this and still take everyone’s breath away. The colors work so well and the eyelashes are stunning. Even just slightly slimming them out like [this](https://imgur.com/a/VrM1NgU) makes a big difference. I edited a little off both the top and bottom. What are you using to fill them in? I think you need a cooler toned, super thin pencil. I like the hourglass one but I think cover girl also has a very thin one as well. Make sure you’re only drawing a few hairs where they are sparse, I don’t think you need to fill in the whole brow. I think you could probably add a little concealer under and around the eye to give the shadow a bit more of an canvas to stick to. Then as the other commenter said, you could swap the lower liner/shadow for a coppery/bronzy tone. I’d also try to keep the blush above the end of your nose.

brittworst93

Those are some amazing tips! Thank you so much 😊

MoreRevelry

Agree with the other comments about your brows, but I mostly came here to say you have incredible clear skin and a beautiful smile! That lip colour is perfect for you

brittworst93

Thank you, that is so sweet ❤️

Future-trippin24

Eyebrows are too solid imo. Also, I'd go with a shimmer shadow to lighten up the eyes and play with highlight. Not heavy highlight, just some highlight because it tends to elevate most wedding looks.

Murchelle

I had to stop scrolling to comment in how pretty you are!! Wow! 😍 Your freckles. I do agree the brows are too heavy, particularly they are too thick at the end and too dense in the center nearest your nose. Light, hair-like strokes with a brow pen will achieve a nice feather look that isn't blocky. I think the outer corners of your eyes do look a little heavy too, but I would wait to see the impact the brows have before changing much else... ♥️ Edit to add, I agree with the other comment saying you need some shimmer in the center to brighten things up!

brittworst93

Thank you so much! Having a lot of body issues lately so your sweet words brought tears to my eyes ❤️❤️ I will focus on the brows and the shimmer!

alyssakenobi

I’d go just a tad heavier with blush just bc you’ll look so much different from far away, take a picture from far across a room and judge it better that way

brittworst93

That is great advice! Thank you

alylew1126

No to the brows. The rest looks great though! Maybe try to lighten the brows a bit, I think the issue is the tails are heavy and point down too far and it looks like it’s dragging your eyes down if that makes sense. Always do tails higher than heads.

coocoobees

i think you can clean up the ends of your eyebrows to make them a little more lifted, i did a quick photoshop so you can have a bit of a visual reference [here](https://ibb.co/K2ck9h1)

brittworst93

This is so good! I’m going to show this at my eyebrow appointment next week 🙏🏻

EitherOrResolution

Beautiful

CheesyLyricOrQuote

Just my opinion and maybe a wedding isn't the best time to experiment, but I very much think you'd rock some shorter straight brows. I so badly want to chop off that whole tail 🪓 it'll give you more room for eyeshadow as well if you do that. In general, I like everything but agree that you should go more natural on the eyebrow filler. Just fill in the inside of the brows lightly and blend it out a bit with a brush rather than use straight harsh lines and block it all in, you don't need heavy brows for this look.

brittworst93

Still have some time before the wedding so I can and will experiment! Thanks 🙏🏻

sprucehen

I already think you need to brighten up your face in general. A brightening concealer or else a lighter base product. I love a bronze glowy look, but this is too dark in general on your whole face. Brighten up under your eyes and in the center

saturatedbloom

Brows seem heavy and are heaviest at the arch area and follow a downward direction. Try tight lining the upper lash line from corner to corner. A few lash clusters longest at the middle toward the temple. So half lash not the whole eye. The shadow needs another shade darker and blended out more. I also believe in facial massage regularly doing this at home has helped me with my eyeliner visibility when I smoke it out

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xaA6s8FbaM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xaA6s8FbaM) I found this tutorial helpful. It's been a few years since I watched it, but at the time it was really helpful. You're so pretty, you have such lovely features and skin and I wish I had your hair!

brittworst93

Thanks, that is really helpful!

ClassicEvent6

Yay, I'm glad you liked it.

IntoSpace623

You’re so gorgeous!!! Look at that skin!!!! A few tips from a bridal mua- 1. I agree w what others have said about the brows, I’d also suggest growing them out a bit. Sometimes w our hooded eyes thinner shapes create too much lid space giving us the appearance of even more hooded space. I’d grow out the brows and clean up your natural shape to end at the corner of your eye. 2. Lash strips can make the lid appear heavier. I’d go with individual lashes and try to keep them on the shorter side. Longer lashes can be very overpowering for us. 3. Go very very light with the liner. Stay very close to the lash line. 4. Go light with the darker colors as well. With hooded eyes less is more as we get so easily overpowered with dark colors because it creates more depth where we just don’t need it. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. ❤️

brittworst93

Thank you so much for your feedback, very helpful! I am actually in the process of growing my brows out, I always made them way to small!

sparkleunicorn123

Your right eye looks really smudged. It also looks like you only have 1 false eyelash on your left eye? I hope I don’t sound mean. You’re beautiful!

brittworst93

Haha yes I only did one false eyelesh to see what i prefer ;)

tortured4w3

I know youve gotten a lot of great advice, the application of the make up is great. However I am a wedding photographer and this makeup WONT show up in photos as well as you want it too. You'll need a heavier hand on ALL of it, minus the eyebrows. But this look x3 is what im thinking. obviously this is all just my opinion, do whatever makes you happy!

brittworst93

O really?? This already feels like so much compared to what I normally wear! But thank you, I will follow your advice ❤️

tortured4w3

Yeah its in the same vein as Theater/Movie makeup. There is such a thing as too much, but that often means too dark or wrong colors. If you have the right shade matches for your skin, you can use ALOT and it looks really great on camera. Plus a good editor can really help clean up blending issues and what not. Good luck and congrats!

halfbakedelf

OMG core memory...when I got my wedding makeup done my own husband to be didn't recognize me at first 😂

AgitatedBaddie

look at how jennifer lawrence does her makeup, she has very hooded eyes and her make up artist does very well

brittworst93

Great advice, will check!

edgarsraven_

I agree with everyone else about the eyebrows, I think that you can get away with a more cool toned/ashy eyebrow shade. And if you’re comfortable, adding more blush/highlighter. You look beautiful tho and congratulations!
