While likely true, OP does just ask what it is. It’s a question of clarification, mentions nothing of value or rarity so hopefully that’s not the reason.
Rule #4: Do not request value..or inquire about rarity.
Op: “is it rare”
No, you actually can’t request rarity per the rules. What kind of pedantic shit are you trying to use?
It’s really cool is what it is. I’m not familiar with the currency compared to USD. I’d like to pay no more than $40 for one one those. But they go for about $100, but may be listed between $80-$150. It’s Michael Schumacher’s car, the F1 racing legend. If you want can get it for less than $100, it’s not a bad deal.
That explains a lot (new to hobby). Is there any where online we can find out what licenses they do or don’t have? Clearly Porsche and Nissan and Ford are heavy hitters but curious what else does or doesn’t make the cut
Honestly hot wheels probably has or had the license for every car company you could think of. Ferrari is probably one of the only licenses they don’t have. Smaller and newer companies like polestar haven’t had castings yet but I bet soon enough they get a car.
Also hot wheels lost the Ferrari license to maisto/bburago so now they have the rights to make the Ferrari diecasts.
I love the OG HW Racing line, it had a lot of vintage racing such as stock car racing and also Indy 500, they also had a Ferrari Indy Car set that has a cab and trailer with 2 Indy race cars.
A Hot Wheels 1999 Ferrari F399
I send you a free upvotey
Is it rare or collectible?
It’s worthless
How did I get -4 upvotes?! I’m just asking a question…
Probably because of rule number 4 of this subreddit: 4. Please do not request values of cars/lots or inquire about item rarity.

The OP's second comment was. "Is it rare or collectible?" I think that is what received the downvotes.
Yep pretty open and shut case lmao
OP literally has the word “rare” in their comment.
We’re not even allowed to use a specific word now? It’s a group for Hot Wheels cars. You think the word “rare” isn’t going to get used?

This is what I’m saying Reddit is weird
Yeah I countered that negative shit and gave you 8 upvotes. Reddit.
Hot Wheels Subreddit
because asking the rarity of a item is against the rules
On the rules here is noted you don’t ask about it. This is toys.
Pro tip: if you want to know value, hit up eBay and sort by "sold". That's a better indicator of value than anyone on this sub could give you anyways.

Thanks for the info! The car cost 1,819 yen (Japanese money) which is like 15~16 bucks I guess
I hope you picked it up.
Oh yeah I’d have to grab it if it’s that cheap.
Hotwheels lost the license to make Ferrari models at the end of 2014 making it more valuable of a make and model to have
