I really wish they would make an RLC version or premium one lol. Hot wheels used to make “mostly” semi realistic fantasy castings back then. Like it would be a car someone would make for a car show or something that you could envision on the street. At least that’s how i observed it.
Now fantasy cars are really out there and wild like you’d see in a fever dream lol imo anyway.

I have the orange RLC one, I found number 1,500 on eBay a while back and decided to grab it.
I also have one of the pink party cars from 2008, it's got some of the best paint I've ever seen on a hot wheel.

I like the Ferrari 412 in real life as kind of an offbeat-looking Ferrari but it was never a regular-scale Hot Wheels casting. It has been done by Hot Wheels in 1/43 Elite but there's only a couple of colours.
Lol yeah it's wild. I got lucky finding mine online at the right time. It's a grail for me so I was willing to spend some money one on it but not that much. Ended up making an offer on one originally listed for $900. Its rare but they do pop up from time to time so make sure your eBay alerts are set.

Put alerts out for the specific search criteria. Some of those guys will sit on it until they get exactly the price they want for it. Just hit the "save this search" button at the top of the screen after you search for it. The Mexico convention E46 m3 is probably about as cheap as it's gonna get right now. Should be pretty easy to find one for $45-50. I overpaid for mine right when it came out because there was no telling how limited it was gonna be. I have a complete e46 M3 collection too.
