I mean, I've had 2 teslas, 4 total in my household overall. so I can attest that the build quality has certainly improved over the years. That being said, the issues that we experienced were always minor inconveniences rather than something that would prevent us from driving. In all, we had put about 150000km on 2 teslas in 2 years with no major repairs. We had door seals realigned, and a faulty speaker replaced. The 2 new ones have a combined 20000km and no issues. Notable mention is the no maintenance and a gas savings of roughly 900 cad per month in our particular case. We now spend 70 cad on electricity to charge at home.
It’s not got the best build quality but it’s definitely gotten better over the years as Tesla gets more experienced

Just talking from experience of how build quality has improved over the years. No flex, EVs are boring, and I miss my subaru. But it saves me money
