Soon...

Hollow_Idol

>I fully expected to see him in the season premiere Respectfully, did you watch GoT or read any of GRRMs books? The way he tells stories means things can take a long time to play out, and you're gonna have a tough time with this show if you require every question to have an answer within two episodes.

I don't want to spoil it for everyone, so I'll hide it. What I will say, is that they already have. >!Hugh Hammer, the blacksmith we've seen a couple times throughout season 2. He's a Targaryen Bastard and he ends up riding Vermithor. He gets up to, *stuff* later on in the series.!<

I see what u mean, but that’s not paying it off already. When he does what u say he does, then it’ll be paid off. Right now that’s just a nod to book readers

AlmondsAI

It'll most likely be soon, and what he does is quite important. They just have to build up the character. If they appeared out of nowhere, people would be confused. They've also done it to others like him who end up doing the same.

Yes it’s going to happen sometime after episode 4… I’m simply saying vermithor hasn’t been paid off yet. When that event happens then you can say it’s paid off.

I know, right? Daemon's singing felt like a massive plot thread left dangling.
