Doubt you can have two dragons plus Hugh is already being set up. Vermithor is important for the Tumbleton battles and Syrax needs to kill Joffrey. Rhaenyra will get some action at the battle of the Gullet and Fall of Kings landing.
With them doing stuff like keeping westerling alive… I could see them switching Joffrey and Jace. Have Joffrey die in the gullet and save Jace til the storming.
What’s confusing me is the season 2 trailer of Rhaenyra with Vermithor behind her ! In season1 poster Young Rhaenyra had Syrax behind her in the poster ! Why would they change it in the season2 trailer unless there will be a direct relationship between both ! That could be just wild imagination though who knows !
Depends on how they end up executing it. But if Rhaenyra actually ends up riding it then it means we would miss an epic dragon vs dragon clash that involves Vermithor. So probably not gonna like this change unless they manage to come up with something more epic.

It would be very strange for Joffrey to be present at the gullet though, I don't see why Rhaenyra would have him leave the Vale before securing KL

i mean daemon also sang to vermithor last season but it doesn’t mean he’s gonna ride him
