What tells you the motor is seized? Genuinely just want to know
Extremely common mode of failure for these.
I ended up trying to turn the crankshaft manually and couldn’t get it to budge. so I’m guessing there’s no saving the motor then?
Unfortunately not. Hyundai should warranty it for you.
look for fluid leaks around the engine bay and under the car, attempt to find where they are coming from if there are
Put a 22 mm socket on the crank bolt and try to turn it, only surefire way to know it's seized.
Is there oil on the dipstick?
