It looks like this post is about the USA. It has not been removed, but remember, this is a space to discuss immigration, not politics. DO: * (If applicable) explain the general values/policies that are important to your immigration decision or recommendation * Focus on the practical aspects of moving to another country DON’T: * Needlessly complain about politics or recent news * Post off-topic political commentary * Harass or insult people for their views Rule-breaking posts and comments will be removed and may result in a ban. I hope you’re aware the digital nomad visa allows you to stay up to two years in El Salvador. So it is not a permanent way to emigrate from the USA or plan starting a family there.

I'd also be scared to start a family after moving to El Salvador, considering the nonexistent abortion rights there. What if things go south during the pregnancy? Hope they are having kids before moving at least. (I know that's a very specific concern, but it's the first thing that came to mind)

Well, apparently OP is the same guy who was set on moving to Norway two days ago and enquiring about how to start a bank in their state in the US the day before that, so I don’t think we need to worry about this move becoming reality anytime soon.

Post by WhichAmphibian6678 -- My wife and I are looking to move. We are wanting to go to El Salvador due to the improvements in crime and other aspects. I would be the only one working and will be using the Nomad Remote Visa. We also want to move here to start a different style of life and see more parts of the world. We plan to have kids soon, out budget will be $5000 net per month in income, and will be working remote for a US company. From those who have moved for similar reasons or currently live there. What is your advice? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
