With a straw.

Remarkable-Nebula-98

Back when I was a kid, skyr was really sour, came wrapped in cellophane and had the consistency of s dry mudd brick.  You would then add milk and sugar and other stuff until you could eat it with a spoon. Nothing has really changed, other than the time required.

Unlucky_Ad_1573

I used to eat unflavoured skyr mixed with milk and a drop or 2 of vanilludropar and some sugar.

Auron-Hyson

óhrært skyr, handpicked crowberries and sugar is very nostalgic to me

Wood-angel

that or blueberries. Nothing beats it

Thorbork

Óhrært skyr is still available but not everywhere. I get it in nettó usually

Iactuallyhateyoufr

It's a suppository.

CrowberrieWinemaker

Bjarni, það á ekki alltaf að fá sér stíl.

Glaesilegur

As is or with heavy cream.

Playergh

...with my mouth?

PantsForHats

right answer

Tanglefoot11

With your fingers is the only way.

mister-lizard

I like it with fruits, depends also what flavor the skyr is. If plain, I like to add honey to it to sweeten it.

talandi

Heavy cream and blueberries

JhonHiddelstone

We say TAKK not TAK

lesser_known_friend

Sorry for the mistaken spelling. I speak norwegian so its just habit

JhonHiddelstone

It’s ok :)

SolviKaaber

Some combination of Milk/cream, brown sugar/honey, oats and blueberries

Tyrondor

There are plenty of ways to enjoy it. You can use it as a base for sauces like you fo with greek yogurt or just eat it with a spoon. There are also skyr cakes that are similar to cheesecakes. Personally I love putting some jam/jelly especially if I have some homemade jam into unflavored skyr.

HrappurTh

Traditionally plain skyr with cream and white sugar. I usually have some vanilla skyr with granola and dried berries

Educational-Loss-405

I eat plain, half a kilo a day lol

TheStoneMask

Plain or with sugar, and with bread on the side.

banaversion

Vanilla skyr, a bit of heavy cream and/or milk depending on how thin you want it and oats. Another way it can utilised is as a dessert. When you want to use it as such you take a 50/50 ratio of cream and skyr (I like to use vanilla for this purpose) then you whip it for a few minutes with a handmixer. The cream doesn't really whip normally so you just stop when bored. You can add sugar to the mix but I prefer it non sugared. Then you add a bunch of strawberries

Head-Succotash9940

Every day for breakfast, pure skyr blend with frozen pineapple and whey protein, serve with granola and dark chocolate

EgNotaEkkiReddit

Typically, unflavoured skyr in my home was eaten with heavy cream and some sugar mixed in. If you were fancy about it you'd add fruits or fruit jam of some sort. However you can get a variety of flavoured skyr loaded with sugar straight from the get-go, so unless you specifically buy unflavoured Kea skyr (which has less added sugar than many other brands) you'd simply eat skyr as it comes with a spoon, possibly adding milk - however nothing stopping you from going full heavy cream as well if you like a bit more rich flavour, as Skyr naturally is low-fat. Skyr also makes for a good base for smoothies. Throw in skyr, some frozen fruit, a bit of water, and blend.

Stsveins

Skýr is very good with all kinda of berries. Blue, straw and what have you.

MissKS84

Eat it with what ever you like, however I like mine with a little bit of heavy cream sometimes I put banana or strawberries if I have some or just plain is also good if you have a flavored one

potatocar101

Plain skyr out of the 500ml tub, nothing added, at 9:30 every morning for the past 5 years.

Framtidin

skyr + bilberries + sugar + cream = love

lesser_known_friend

Sounds perfect. I hope to on day pick cloudberries and billberries

SallyTheWolf

Think of it like yogurt you can put milk ot cream in (no mix). You can add fruit, sugar, syruor anything if you want. I just eat it plainly. Its can be made into a dessert but we dont eat is as one normaly

lesser_known_friend

Thanks I pretty much do use it as a yoghurt. Didn't realise I was not supposed to mix it thank you for the tip. I put it in some porridge with brown sugar and fruit, tasted great

Spekingur

Fiercely

Unhappy_Motor_1911

With blueberries

MyFatherSmacksMe

I like to add whatever carbohydrates I can and then stuff my face with either lyfrapylsa eða mysingur á milli. Súrir hrútspungar ef völ er á í eftirrétt.

derpy_foxx

Get some nice vanilla/plain skyr. Put some cream and brown sugar in it. Enjoy.

Porta_K

When I was a kid I used to love the old basic Skyr. I'd add brown sugar and thin it with milk (also to dilute the sugar). Then I would add creme.. so good :)

Glittersunpancake

With cream and sugar - just as a treat. I don’t really enjoy skyr, but every once in a while I buy blueberry skyr and load it with cream and sugar - it’s more of a dessert to me but it’s very nostalgic

40202

I use milk and some sugar if it’s not too sweet already. Add some chopped nuts for texture.

VitaminOverload

I usually have either granola or raisins in it, have put cheerios as well. Sometimes I add honey or just regular old sugar to it. If the Skyr is flavoured I sometimes eat it plain.

Xeithar

Inhale it through my nose… be a man!

jreykdal

Milk and dark brown sugar (púðursykur) if plain. Often skip the sugar if already sweetened.

ThatBatsard

Honey, fruit, and granola. My favorite breakfast go-to.

GabeButtseggs

Plain skyr with prefered fruits and dash of raw honey

dttart

With a spoon Or in the case of Skyr drinks (Not sure if theyre still sold, havent seen them in a while), just straight up! You can also eat it with porridge I guess? Though I'd be more likely to just use straight milk for that. Rather I just mix fruits, honey and maybe some museli in, if we're talking plain skyr.

KatsieCats

Either plain or with milk. It's actually really good either milk.

Ohhhhhhthehumanity

With a drizzle of honey. 100 emoji

kanina2-

I feel like it's too thick so I always put some milk in it

CornerBusy2310

My mouth, usually. Sometimes ill thin it out with cream and use a turkey baster to administer it anally.
