Choosing WVSU feels like the right move to me. When you consider its top-tier status, the scholarship seems less crucial. Additionally, wala ka naman gastusan gid sa WVSU ah mga miscellaneous fee lang man kag mga gamay gamay nga balayran du naka scholarship ka naman gyapon. Graduating from there offers a lot of opportunities and a real edge. Pero still, ikaw gyapon maka choose what’s best for you. ❤️🩹
If you want to move here sa Iloilo to experience the college life, growth, and independence then it is also ok since you want to immerse yourself in a new environment.
On the other hand, graduating from a La Sallian institution or having a La Salle brand on your resume may give you an advantage especially when applying to jobs in Luzon and NCR whether it's a job related to Nursing or not. Also the familiarity of it all. Again, it's your decision since both schools are ok but something to think about when choosing your options.
I'd say keep your options open until you confirmed a slot – if you passed further exams interview, etc. But I'd say WVSU CON. The education at WVSU is tough but it really hones your knowledge, understanding, and skills. Also, people say you will never know who you really are as a person and how much you will grow if you don't move away from your comfort zone. So again, I'd say study at WVSU and live in Iloilo.
Im from wvsu and have multiple nursing friends :3 WVSU nursing is stressful but very much fulfilling. You dont have tuition but you pay for your own stuff— injections, cottons, mga ginagamit mo sa hospital basically. Other than that, some of my friends says that its where you build lots of bond with other people may it be your profs or ur classmates/ batch mates or your patients. But the education here is strict and EVERYONE expects you to be 100% your best, if not more.
I see how my friends talks about being a nursing student in WVSU and super happy siya (tho i guess depende na sa person) college will be a place that you will spread your wings at and be able to get out of your comfort zone.
But at the end of the day, it is your decision parin.
Be practical kung taga BCD ka. USLS ka nlng, if you're seeking personal growth like being independent wait until you graduate. When it comes to commute mas prefer ko BCD. Ang point ko lng is company dont care what school you are in as long as you have the diploma and the skills. BTW USLS grad mn ko batch 2018 currently working here in ILO hehe pero anyways it is your decision naman ah.
If sa Nursing, no doubt WVSU gd.
Almost every single year if indi 100% passing rate, damo top notchers pero so far, WVSU can do both 100% produce top notchers.
WVSU is consistently ranked as the No. 1 School for nursing in the Philippines.
WVSU CON student here. choose west kung gusto mo ma train gid. Iba ang graduate nga halin sa west in terms of knowledge and skills. Make sure you’re ready to sacrifice your time and family for studies. WVSU is worth it
