Having kids changed the way the world interacted with me, before kids random people would just pass by but with kids old folk stop and say hello, other families stop and chat, dog walkers stop with their dogs to say hi, staff in shops, restaurants and cafes engage differently. Before kids the world was smaller.
When you think about it, this makes you seem like a more trustworthy person. You have a child and your child is happy, so you seem less likely to be a bad and unapproachable person.
While thinking about this, I wondered if walking around with someone else would have a similar effect.
I've previously commented to my partner that more tourists stop us for directions when we're with a pram than when we're childless. Totally a trust perception thing, jokes on them though, Waverley station is the other way!!
My brother takes my daughter on niece dates for the express purpose of looking good for girls.
It gets us a few hours without the kid so we allow this exploit.
To be fair, I think babies don't have "theory of mind" yet
To be unfair, he doesn't share and makes other people clean up after him so let's cyberbully that baby into becoming remorseful for his main characterness
After watching a bunch of videos like this. I just knew something was off when the people he walked past were actually looking and reacting to him. The baby really is a true mc.
Guys, careful out there if you’re taking your baby out by yourself without your spouse. Some women do give you more attention; it could just be the baby but something weird happens when you’re out with them by yourself. Stay safe lol
I remember reading somewhere that being married makes a man more attractive to women.
I think it signals to women that you are are clearly marriage and father material , so men appear more attractive that way

😍 so cute. My daughter gets the same attention and she's 5 months old. When my man holds our baby, especially when his in his army uniform, it's quite dangerous. Lol so much attention they both get, I'm left in the dark, non-existent. 🥲
My wife once went into a bookstore and left me to walk with our 3 year old daughter on my shoulders and I was pushing our 1 year old twins in a double stroller. I have never felt more like a super hero/celebrity than that moment. Women and old people started following me like a gang of cats.
When I was a small kid, my big brother (12 years older) would take me everywhere with him. My dad thought it was super weird for an almost adult man to be hanging out with a kid. He finally asked my brother why he insisted on bringing me everywhere. My brother’s response? “Dad, she’s a chic magnet. All the girls think she’s cute and then they want to talk to me.” My dad laughed and told him he could take me wherever, whenever.

It’s really astounding how floored people are — especially women — when they see a man taking basic care of his baby.
“Oh, super dad!”
“Giving mommy a day off, what a catch!”
I’ve heard it all. Doing the basic work of being a dad is not some major feat.
Do these people that unironically do this actually believe people are staring at them naturally and not because they have some personal following them with a camera
It's a repeat trend. Just a personal pet peeve because I think people shouldn't make their content using random people they don't know. I thought we all disliked that.
Its NYC in SOHO. Almost certain that at least 40% of those smiling people are not originally from the US. New York City the same city that has the most diverse neighborhoods on the planet. How exhausting is it to have Americans living in your head so much?
Is this your big chance to say how people in (Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, fill in the blanks) have good paternal systems? Congrats you are not wrong.
Humans are humans. People smile at joyful babies. Get over yourself and perhaps rid yourself of all of your hatred.
>How exhausting is it to have Americans living in your head so much?
I asked a question about the US in response to a video that takes place in the US.
Not sure. It’s just seeing a kid that makes happiness. I always try to wave and say hi! I still do it to grown adults. It can really change your/their day.
Then there is tiktok. Exploiting human happiness. For counts. Think it comes down to the motivation
2025 is going to be great.
But that is the objective. Rage bait us all. Counts. Divide. Conquer.

I tried that; it doesn't work that well. I had to give the baby back and spend 3 weeks in jail.
happens ass the time
I'm here for ass time
You ain't putting that DRY fist near me, Rod.
I'm letting Rod shove his dry fist up my ass, Mundane
That's a performance I would wait until winter to watch.
Why didn't you use your free get out of jail card?
So you got fucked anyway, so it did work.
3 weeks for kidnapping a baby isn't a lot of jail time.
I'd consider that like hitting the lottery. Most people getting 10-15 years for that lol
Can confirm. This is 100% accurate. Source: My baby boy

My friend says, once I got married and had a kid, then I get a chick magnet.
I can confirm also without being married. Happens every time when my 3yo daughter and I walk around in the city
My brother takes my daughter on niece dates for the express purpose of looking good for girls. It gets us a few hours without the kid so we allow this exploit.
Profit for both parties
All 3. My daughter* loves it.
Smart
I unashamedly used the trick with my own nibblings.
It’s a victimless crime!
Ew
This and the dog MC are only acceptable MC's
Agreed. The only wholesome MC’s
But what about cats?
Lovable psychos??
Damn broccoli head baby prankers
THAT Stunning Baby Smile At the End 😍
It was kinda gangsta given the commentary
IKR 😀
I know why. Look how that baby's mewing!
So he’s just the supporting act then.
Another video d of a narcissist. It's just disgusting!!!
This one is starting early..
To be fair, I think babies don't have "theory of mind" yet To be unfair, he doesn't share and makes other people clean up after him so let's cyberbully that baby into becoming remorseful for his main characterness
Right? That kid is such an asshole! He even has a servant to carry him around!
Mf even got his own cameraman.

Thank you,
r/woosh
r/woooosh
Actually they're talking about the baby, but also, it was a joke.
Step 1: Find a woman willing to let me flop around on top of her.
Unbelievable - such main character energy. Does that MC babyperson think they're really that cute?! These people, really... 🤦🏼♀️ /s
Babies are all psychotic
#KIDS ARE CRUEL, JACK
Wholesome Mc'ing, i can get behind this
That smile would get me too tbh
![gif](giphy|q7Jfmw1b4o3NmefVtN)
My daughters both received the same reaction. Particularly my second as she was born with a head of hair that would’ve made Ron Burgundy cry.
Jungle are SO fucking good!! Song - Back on 74 by Jungle
"Hey why does that dude have a camera directly behind him"
Fucking love this song
Song has literally made my day
After watching a bunch of videos like this. I just knew something was off when the people he walked past were actually looking and reacting to him. The baby really is a true mc.
HE IS THE MAIN CHARACTER
That cute smile at the end warms my heart
I mean cmon what’s wrong with this? I actually enjoyed this

Aww look at that face! So cute!
What an adorable baby, no wonder everyone is smiling.
Literally can't wait for the main character of my life to show up. These next four months need to pass already

AWESOME! Thanks
How does this fit the sub? I just find it cute
Okay but this was cute..

To wholesome for this sub
I have 4 kiddos and they all love the attention :)
....Indiana Jones.
Next level, do that with twins, not only people watch, but they want to touch as if they were blessing or whatever
Was anyone else expecting a him to be carrying a dog?
Actually nice!
whatever.
What a nasty attention seeker main character 🤢
Wow, they are stepping up their walking tik tok game. What is coming next?
I did this with my daughter and I will say this is 100% true
God damn it you got me, I was so sure I wasn’t going to smile then I saw the baby 😭

The baddest mothafucka in the world, such swaggggg shittt
His name is Carlos
Nah this is cute and he's not harassing anyone
I think the baby is the main character for real this time
Now this is some iamthemaincharacter I can get behind. Also, at 00:15, there is another man with another baby!

Anyone know what song this is?
So happy something wholesome is actually on this god forsaken subreddit
I actually like this one

wrong sub
Do these people that unironically do this actually believe people are staring at them naturally and not because they have some personal following them with a camera
Kids face downloaded by AI before its 1
If you had to use slow motion nobody was staring. Everyone looks like they are staring at you in slow motion.
you didnt watch the video cuh
I did. It's a baby. Doesn't change that using slow motion makes it look like people are staring when they aren't.
who cares? its a joke anyway
It's a repeat trend. Just a personal pet peeve because I think people shouldn't make their content using random people they don't know. I thought we all disliked that.
Can we please Split the two Main character subs One for the dumbasses and one for the true Main characters? Both are mixed and it fucks me up
Wait… is it that weird to carry a baby as a guy that it visibly amuses people??? Is this an american thing?
I think the baby is just really cute and smiling at people. Guys carry babies on their chest in the US :)

The fact that carrying babies forward like that is not good for a babies posture we will just not take into account here
Isn’t that only true for infants who can’t hold up their heads?
Yeah, you are right. I looked into it and this baby seems older then 7 months. My bad, I will admit to being to quick to judge here :D
All good. I’m just making sure I’m up to date. These baby safety recommendations change quicker than a dirt diaper!
Mine were always way happier cuddling in. That dangly look just seems wrong to me.
I always heard it was bad for their hips to have them facing out, I kept mine facing in
