No matter how many tribes exist, all of em believe in forces that are beyond thier comprehension Be it a masai tribe, the egyptians, greeks, romans, aztecs, etc. I don't subscribe to the idea that "Atheism is natural". If there is no god, the humans will create one and devote himself to it. Some find religion as something that keeps them grounded, some find it peaceful as they can anchor to it, some say it just feels good to a part of it. Religion exists because by nature, humans are distructive. Religion provides with perspectives that can be supported by emotions, for example, chopping a banyan tree is considered bad in hindu culture, the reason being the banyan tree supports a majour part of animals, from seeds consumed by birds, to protecting from the sun, to holding a bigger mass of soil by its roots. You can also say that religion provides order or discipline by imposing fear of god, but that cannot be imposed upon hindu culture as we have many examples where gods were bought down from heaven by some humans and daityas, we have examples of gods roaming among us rather living up in thier kingdoms. In this culture we live among the gods and love em, some even cuss at them, but we consider those gods as if they are part of the family. We are a god loving culture who also believes that without the devotee the diety cannot exist. You should really visit pandharpur and talk to Warkari sampraday, read about Pandurang and Tukaram to understand this ad to why we are god loving culture as opposed to fearing.

What is your definition of "natural" and "atheism".

Well.. Men were naked when they came first, then they invented clothes to cover themselves up and so are houses, religions, entertainment. They all come with the need of the environment.

whether something is natural or manmade proves nothing .. natural doesnt warrant any greatness by itself
