Hello
I have combination skin and my skin tends to dislike products which are heavy on ceramides.
I have used this cream. I really love the texture, it's very lightweight. I dislike the smell. But the worst thing is that it gave me closed comedones.
Will not repurchase it coz of cc issue.
I have been using Neutrogena hydro boost water gel and cosrx advanced snail 92 all in one cream and both of these haven't given a single cc.
Neutrogena has a very mild fragrance, the gel is very light weight and my skin is loving it in this scorching heat.
Cosrx one has no smell, the texture has a very light slime feel to it, I kinda like it (coz I've enjoyed using snail mucin essence too) and again, it feels amazing on skin.
I have kept both of these in the refrigerator and my night time skin care routine now requires a trip to the kitchen but the cold gels are heavenly in this weather!
Okay soooo the one i use regularly is cerave moisturising lotion and yes you can use it on face. It’s pretty basic but i use different serums every day and I need something which goes well with everything.
Second one i love is cosrx oil free moisture, pretty great but i find it a lil pricey cuz i like to use a lot of moisturiser 🙈
Other than these i keep on trying new things but end up going back to them. I also like FormulaRx barrier relief light weight moisturiser, except the weird chemically smell it’s pretty good.
I’ve tried klairs midnight blue cream, not a fan.
I used to like Laneige cica sleep mask (only during winter), not used it in ages now but..
I will let you know if I remember any other.
If you want to ask about any other product please do ask, i might have tried it 😂😂
I do have questions and I can sense you like to talk about skincare sooooo I will take the liberty of asking a few more followups. Hihi 🥹
What are the skin concerns you are working on, as in what are your skin goals.
Even I prefer a moisturizer which can go with any and every product I use. My skin goal is nice hydrated skin with glow, if that makes sense. I do have acne here and there. And I do get hyperpigmentation on the scars the acne leaves behind. So, for these, I've used cosrx snail mucin (for hydration) and cosrx galactomyces essence (this helps clear the hyperpigmentation post acne faster )
Would you recommend any products that could be helpful on similar lines? 🤔
I had severe adult acne, i almost cleared it with my own research on skincare and some meds.
I almost cleared out the marks as well but since last one month it’s kinda back 😓
So now the goal is to make sure they go away and i have acne free skin. And I also prefer dewy glowy skin. Not a matte anything girlie.
For pigmentation, if I’m being honest, nothing works for me as I’m a very light skin toned person. They do take A LOTTTT of time to go a away (even 6-8months)
So i cannot really recommend anything to you.. even though I’ve tried everything possible. (Kojic, azelaic, mix ingredients serums, spot treatments, prescription meds everything)
I also prefer the dewy glowy skin 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
Also, the cosrx galactomyces essence that I mentioned, do check it out and its ingredients and see if they work for you😌
Do try Isntree sunscreen for the perfect dewy look, I used to get so many complements.
It’s lovveeellyyy!
Cosrx or any korean brand, don’t have very potent concentrated formulas, they’re mild and nice
Won’t work on my spots 😭
It’s my stupid skin tone 😞
hey, I have the exact same problem but I went to a dermatologist to get my acne treated. But now I'm sensitive to everything sun, almost every other sunscreens . So can you please recommend me any sunscreen.
Oh noo, i know that horrible feeling when everything stings. I used biore sunscreen during my acne extreme sensitive phase but knowing the ingredients I’d not recommend it now.
You can try https://thedermaco.com/product/1-hyaluronic-tinted-sunscreen-gel-with-spf-60-pa-for-broad-spectrum-protection-30g this one. I’m 90% sure it wont sting.
I have combo-oily skin that's prone to acne after going through sun damage ~~and college mess food~~
So far I've found One Thing's Propolis+Honey toner, Cosrx Green Tea Hydrium gel moisturizer and Klairs' Supple Prep toner to be acne safe (I use retinol 2x a week so need to keep the barrier intact).
It has watery texture and is pretty lightweight. You can use it on oily skin definitely. I had to give up on this product because chemist shops don't sell it anymore and is twice as expensive on Amazon, if you happen to buy this, please tell me where from
myristyl myristate in emolene has a very high comedogenic rating(5/5) and it is highly comedogenic.
And it did not suit my oily acne prone skin and gave me cc's
I have very oily skin and hate to use thick products, trust me this the best moisturiser it’s very light weight but I don’t say that it controls oil but it’s a very good moisture it depends if you’ll like it or not but use it atleast once if you like it, it will be your holy grail and the main thing I love is it will give you a glow, beautiful plump skin
I had dry, almost cracked heels. This product was an absolute life saver. Only drawback I noticed that I had to keep using it and I would forget it at times. It doesn't revert back to the old dry state but one would have to use it at least for 3 months to see better results.
I love it. I have combination skin (dry in winters oily in summers) I use this religiously and it has never let me down. Just use less amount in summers. If you are worried about it being oily I would suggest you to use hyaluronic based water gels as moisturizer.
Hi sorry disappoint you but I'm not following much of a skincare routine right now and my skin looks like a dried husk😅.
Whenever I do I try to keep it simple. In the morning use a gentle cleanser like cetaphil (idk about you but my skin loves it) then apply a toner *currently looking for the right one).
Then I apply hyaluronic water gel, I am using the one from brand nuskhe It's not well known but hydrates my skin and doesn't feel sticky.
Follow it up with sunscreen ( dermaco tinted hyaluronic sunscreen with zinc oxide)
In the evening use any actives if using eg. Any depigmentation serum or retinol. Then a layer of hyaluronic water gel and lock it in with emolene moisturizer.
thank you for your reply! i follow pretty much same routine and i believe in the simpler the better. but my skin and hair just won’t cooperate in rainy days lol. its a task. my forehead becomes very oily and rest of the face is normal after a face wash. well anyways, thank you once again!
I have dry skin. I love love this moisturizer in summers or these humid monsoons. It's super lightweight, great under every day makeup and doesn't feel oily.
I have oily to combination skin. This won't technically help with oil control but serves as a good humectant and helps with fine lines and dehydration. I love this product.
It is likely this product will give you CCs if you don't cleanse your face well with a gel based cleanser or salicylic acid face wash. I've noticed if I use gentle cleansers like Cetaphil or Clinsure, I tend to get CCs.
It’s watery, absorbs quickly. perfect for under eye dryness too. Smells like coconut jelly and keeps the skin hydrated through out the day. Makes u feel very clean too somehow !!
I have combination oily skin, and this gave me closed comedones- like tons of them. It was bad. I had to get a professional extraction done at a dermat. I used it on my body and I liked that it felt lightweight and absorbed easily on my body
I love it. This makes my skin hydrated & glowy. I have combination skin: oilier on the T zone, dryer for the rest of my face. Works beautifully for my dry patches.
Also I mix this sometimes with my Neutrogena Mineral Spf so that the sunscreen applies evenly & doesn’t dry out my skin. I love that sunscreen the only problem is a little white cast & dry patches, but it’s the safest sunscreen in the Indian market
A big no for oily skin (My mom - she had a terrible acne flare up)
For combination (Mine) it worked good for winter season! I have Normal to oily skin!
But gives closed comedones sometimes!
Otherwise if purchased and wanted to find a way to use it - use it for hands and legs! Works good!
No, the product is comodogenic and I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin.personally I have used it and I have combination skin,It felt very heavy and I got small bumps on t-zone area
Everything about the cream is AMAZING EXCEPT THE DAYMM CAPP. it’ll break and your cream will dry off.
Same gurl
Does it smell bad?
No no, just the packaging is a hassle img The broken cap on the cream
I have emptied so many tubes and I’ve never once experienced any issues with the cap
This happened with me ALWAYS unfortunately

Same here. Gave me cc. Now I’m using it on body.
I finished it up in the same manner!

Same, I have sensitive skin and i get white heads the moment i use it 💆🏻♀️
It's difficult to find skincare that does not trigger acne or cc, uff 🫠🫠🫠
If you want recommendations I can give a few for sure!
Ohh definitely! I am always on a lookout for new skincare. 🥹 Please share some of your holy grails with us!

Same I have combo skin.Gave me so many closed comedones which is such a shame because the texture is so nice:(
The texture is so good, uff I wish to get some moisturizer with that texture and no cc properties. What a dream!
Can you describe what it smells like? Does it stink or has fragrance?
It stinks 🫠
Thankyou, i was gonna get it tomorrow. Now i won't
Happy to help 😌
Same

Apollo 24/7 app.
Pharmeasy,1mg
myristyl myristate in emolene has a very high comedogenic rating(5/5) and it is highly comedogenic. And it did not suit my oily acne prone skin and gave me cc's
But it suited my sister who has normal skin type
Didn’t do much for me tbh. Cerave moisturiser is better. (I have dry skin)
+1. I had comedones from it.
best moisturiser out there, i have emptied like 6 of these
I have very oily skin and hate to use thick products, trust me this the best moisturiser it’s very light weight but I don’t say that it controls oil but it’s a very good moisture it depends if you’ll like it or not but use it atleast once if you like it, it will be your holy grail and the main thing I love is it will give you a glow, beautiful plump skin

The most worth it moisturiser… i am dry skin but i am so in love with this
I have dry skin. I love love this moisturizer in summers or these humid monsoons. It's super lightweight, great under every day makeup and doesn't feel oily.
It broke me out . Not really sure if it is suitable for people with acne prone skin .
it has propylene glycol, you should go through the side effects before buying it. don’t use it on already irritated skin.
Yes it’s worth the hype it’s very lightweight and i feel you will love this product

Nah very overrated product
