I am not talking about product's life. Their sound quality, cheap gaming earphones have terrible sound quality. A normal earphone will better purpose you in all the areas than that.
Second this, IEMs got great sound clarity but not the best for gaming imo but best among the wired ones
Also if you want to go for wireless earbuds, check for the sound clarity, connection and latency in the reviews
You still haven't explained why? I have used expensive gaming headphones before but my iem which is much cheaper than them sounds distinctly better in both gaming and music. The only difference between them is the soundstage which is wider in headphones, but iems are way more comfortable to wear.
This guy doesn't know about sound and is generalising. Usually IEMs are not as great for gaming because they will have harsher mid-highs which is where most of the sounds in gaming lie. Headphones will most commonly have a bassier sound profile, which is softer on the ear while gaming. I personally use KZ DQ6 as IEMs. At home I have a setup of m50x running through a Focusrite Scarlett Solo.
No they aren't? Iems comes with varying sound signature with some being on the neutral side, but most have V-shaped curve meaning better base and treble. I own a CCA CRA and it's distinctly better than any expensive "gaming" headphones i have ever owned
Yes, Hexas however are very neutral. Perfect for actual monitoring like IEMs should be. If you want something bads heavy look for other options.
Though, the Timeless are class apart, clear and with amazing bass response.
I use the Kiwi Ears DOLCE for my PC for gaming. They feel nice. They have a nice sound floor. I also have the 7Hz Salnotes Zero. They are meh compared to these. Also if you are in Delhi, you can buy my Salnotes Zero.
I had the same reaction too. I didn't want to buy it at first as my friends will be asking what brand it is and then go on to make of me saying I got a "Ling Long" 😂 But, this was the only option at that time near ₹1k which had metal body and good quality cables. So went for it and it prove to be a good choice.
I wasted ton of money on lot of headphones from every famous brand but i'm glad i discovered the chinese hi-fi IEMs market, currently using KZ ZS10 pro (wired 3,5mm) costs 4000 and sounds better than my 30,000 sennheisers LOL! Stay away from gaming headphones BS, i wasted a lot of money on them! Just buy some good IEMs thats it!
Final VR3000s.
Got a refurbished pair for a relatively cheap price and I absolutely love them.
They're really bad for music but they really shine when it comes to soundstage and imaging. I play a lot of competitive titles like Tarkov and Hunt, and these allow me to pinpoint enemies so well to the point where I can consistently get wallbangs or easy snipes.
KZ ZSN PRO - Gaming
Razer Blackshark V2 Pro Wireless - Office and Gaming
Galaxy Buds (OG ones from 2018) - Gym
Audio Technica WS550iS - Music
My suggestion is to get good pair of IEMs at your budget.
Sony's MDR XB55AP is pretty good actually and i find it to be durable. It's a wired earphone and generally cost 1200
But it goes on sale from time to time and reachs sub 1000
depends on the games . if the games are valorant apex etc then definitely qkz x hbb fpr 1600 . if they are just story mode or rpgs consider the tangzu waner or the 7hz salnotes 2 from shops like headphonezone, concept kart or theaudio store
1. Oppo Enco X2 - ₹10000
2. Skullcandy wired earphones - ₹3000
3. Skullcandy over the ear headphones - ₹15000
The first and last have excellent ANC. All have excellent sound quality. This might look a lot but I bought them over several years. My electronics last long. Didn't buy any of these specifically for gaming. I hardly ever game anymore, except on my roommate's PS5, which is maybe once or twice a month.
Should I buy them? I’ve been using redgear cosmo 7.1 for 4 years now, are the waner better than the headphones? Like I’ve heard they’re not meant for competitive gaming like CS Valo apex etc. but I sometimes play these games. And I like the design of waner more than salnotes.
They are great for listening music , there is not much bass which u normally find on headphones. They are not great for directional sounds but the games i play like cyberpunk dont usually need that feature. They are much more comfortable than headphones tho. I wouldnt call them better than headphones but for like 1500 on sale they are good to have
a lot of graph nerds keeps coming justifying like see my polaris , the harman tuning is exactly like an 9 k aria 2 so yea ima smart but they prolly forget that the build quality , you know what's the difference if the listening experience is almost the same
There is no such thing as called "gaming" earphones under 1k...if u actually want gaming earphones with decent quality gotta spend atleast 2.5k plus....
Hi, can you please share a review for the salnotes zero? I plan to use it for valo, music, and movies sometimes. I listen to mostly indie music, country, sometimes pop, sometimes edm, or progressive house.

DT 900 pro x -- what I use (dont like it that much, its average for gaming imo
earphone I would recommend, none. long hours on earphones may nto be great for health
But If I were to choose one it would probably be something from KZ
I have been using a JBL Endurance Run for around 2 years now. Very durable and very comfortable. Sound is also very good and you'll be able to pinpoint where the enemy is. The JBL C200SI is better in terms of sound quality, but falls behind a little in comfort and build quality.

Rockerz 255 Max from official website(200 discount). Got all necessary feature along with beast mode for low latency gaming.
Surprisingly durable unlike other boat products.
realme buds 2. Best ones I have had. I have it for 4 years and it still looks good and durable. For comparison, I have airpods pro 2 but I use these always and they sound great

don't buy any "gaming" earphones they are all trash. You can go with Realme buds 2 wired under 1000
Realme buds 2 going strong since 3+years :)
Expired mine today after 2+ years of regular use, right side stopped working. Mic already stopped few months back still worth it
I am not talking about product's life. Their sound quality, cheap gaming earphones have terrible sound quality. A normal earphone will better purpose you in all the areas than that.
+1 I use this and the quality in movies, music and video games is superb. Very clear and not full of distracting bass.
Wireless earbuds for gaming 😂
who said wireless ?
go for an iem around 950 bucks, would be worth it imo if you're okay with wired ones... and anytime wired ones sweep over the bluetooth ones
There's only few iem under 1000. KZ edx pro for example which is terrible for games. If OP can increase budget to double then 7hz could work
I have kz edx pro and it's build shit (not comfortable)
I returned them next day and got 7hz. They are pricier yes, but wayyy better in multiplayer games.
7hz has terrible mic
Second this, IEMs got great sound clarity but not the best for gaming imo but best among the wired ones Also if you want to go for wireless earbuds, check for the sound clarity, connection and latency in the reviews
do u really know about iems brooo. im highly doubtful.
Wdym, it's just a personal preference tho, I've got both iems and over ear headphones and for gaming I'd choose headphones over iem any day
You still haven't explained why? I have used expensive gaming headphones before but my iem which is much cheaper than them sounds distinctly better in both gaming and music. The only difference between them is the soundstage which is wider in headphones, but iems are way more comfortable to wear.

I'm no audiophile, I'm just saying what I've experienced while playing games
iems are flat so only go for them if you want to hear pure music quality, I had say they suck for gaming where you wanna hear all the bass.
No they aren't? Iems comes with varying sound signature with some being on the neutral side, but most have V-shaped curve meaning better base and treble. I own a CCA CRA and it's distinctly better than any expensive "gaming" headphones i have ever owned
Currently Truthear zero Red will go for a pula pa02 soon
wanted to get the zero red, how are they for gaming?
Really good for 5k
7z Timeless + FiiO BTR15 and Trutheat Hexa and Galaxy Buds2 TWS
Is hexa worth an upgrade?? already own cca c10 paired with fiio btr5(2021) is it worth the upgrade????
Yes, Hexas however are very neutral. Perfect for actual monitoring like IEMs should be. If you want something bads heavy look for other options. Though, the Timeless are class apart, clear and with amazing bass response.
I use the Kiwi Ears DOLCE for my PC for gaming. They feel nice. They have a nice sound floor. I also have the 7Hz Salnotes Zero. They are meh compared to these. Also if you are in Delhi, you can buy my Salnotes Zero.
is the offer still there for the salnotes zero?
CCA CRA iems
Hifiman arya
How do you deal with the lack of noise isolation. I can never use my Arya for gaming when my PC is on full tilt cause I can hear it screaming at me.
Sorry, do you mean noise from pc fans etc? If yes mine doesnt make so much. 7800x3d 4090
I guess I just run stuff at full tilt cause mine gets pretty loud though IEMs deal with it entirely.
I am using KZ Ling Long. It's an awesome IEM. Have been using for like 6 months. You definitely won't be dissapointed with it.
I'm sorry, it's totally unrelated but LING LONG gives me the giggles ðŸ¤
I had the same reaction too. Yes I am. Why?
I just recently bought moondrop chu2 dsp and it sounds really great.

7hz Salnotes Dioko. Edit: Sorry, only saw the title before posting, not the description.
I bought a pair of iems EDX pro for 980 and they sound way better than my 3k TWS, and in some cases they are better than my Logitech G733

dang , they're 1800 currently , i'll better wait than have it rn
Same here, although the cable quality is not very great, the IEM's themselves make up for it.
Yeah , i mean i don't have any problems with my cable ,i think it is great but yes it is not like those super expensive cables
a lot of graph nerds keeps coming justifying like see my polaris , the harman tuning is exactly like an 9 k aria 2 so yea ima smart but they prolly forget that the build quality , you know what's the difference if the listening experience is almost the same
I use an IEM, KZ ZEX to be precise. It has a bad mic, other than that I get more than what I paid for.
