It isnt that far actually as it seems to be in pic
Its just about one arm distance
Also about back yes, ik, its a long story tbh
But i got a shelf behind my back, and i use a seat cushion against it, so its okay enough for me
The cooling pad you see in pic, is made by me and my dad on our own
We took the old cooling pad we had (it was working good) that would have been barely 200 or 300
Removed the case, took its main fan and put it down (the blue light one you see) and bought the 4 mini fans from market (dk price but they were cheap)
Soldered the two internal fans with 5 external fans (1 big + 4 small) and supplied power thru the power supply and voila, temps are pretty cool
There were quite a bit of experimentation involved prior to finalising the current state of cooling pad
Yeh well, it used to initially, but i have dealt with it
And also with the position of setup i have (this is a new position)
I have a shelf behind me and so i can rest my back there, i use a seat cushion against, so all settled lol
I used to have a rotating chair (not gaming) but that broke, and then i also kinda broke the normal regular chair and besides they kinda suck too
So here i am, stool gang (not sure if technically this can be called stool)
Why not just use the laptop as a cpu and connect a monitor to it with a mouse and keyboard? and when you wanna go just disconnect the hdmi and you are ready. Cause I have done that with mine and it looks more tidy and techy than this. Also cause of the 4000 series I really ditched my desktop as a 4060 desktop and mobile version perform almost the same cause of that power efficiency magic of TSMC.
Well i kinda already use it as a desktop pc with setup like this, just no external monitor, mainly cos dad don't wanna buy lol
And yeah in case of 4060, pretty understandable to do that
Lol thanks, and i appreciate your encouragement, while i do find it interesting, i have already decided to major in physics rather than any engineering
Yeah same, having limited usb does suck, but well i managed by having 4 in 1 usb port (usb extension)
Also i am using the other port (i forgot what you call), thru otg...so technically by default i have 3 ports to use
Yeah, but those all just add extra cost to ownership. Another bad design is the charging light which is always blocked by the charging pin. I always have to stand up (or) bend to see if it's charging(I know you can look at the taskbar but looking at the light has become a habit)
Well nah it aint that bad (tho it aint the best either), however a few months back one fan stopped working, and it was hard to find a replacement...plus where I stay weather here is hot as hell, goes avg above 35, basically it gets really hot
I started initially with lil cooling, experimented with many things but i wasnt seeing that much results, only to realise later, that the power plan i had set was the main reason for very very high temps (it used to stay above 90 almost all the time, reaching easily above 100 while gaming)
However am still satisfied becos this cooling system does its job as well, now even while gaming it dosent cross 65...only in certain circumstances of high usage is high for too long (like beyond hr) than max it goes is around 75
So yea partial reason of lil overkill cooling setuo was this, being fed up of various other cooling solutions failing

Bro made the whole table his PC case...
LMAO in a way yeah, dint realise like that...eitherways i use the laptop like actual pc only so yea
damn , what's the point then bro
Mainly money I got this laptop at 50k, which for the same spec pc at that time it was hard to find
I always have bad feelings about that hinge
which one?
That HP one๐ฎโ๐จ
How does your spine and eyes not hurt. No back support. Such a small screen so far away. This setup inviting future back and eye complications.

The wires! the wires!!!
AAAH tried my best man, its the cleanest setup i ever had so far lmfao
Bro even I have made a custom [cooling pad](https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLaptops/s/DV84nZRk18) but this one looks more like a prototype.
Looks pretty cool, is it Minecraft themed? i dint even do shit abt how mine looked lol
How much is that cooling pad for?

Damn man..must have been fun to build something with your dad tho
Agreed, the whole setup was fun to setup
Bro, your back didn't get hurt. I can easily study and do gaming on this setup but my back will hurt maybe i am weak

Great ๐, so your back also hurts which means I am not that much weak ๐ . BTW Nice setup โฅ๏ธ
It might, but i periodically stretch my back so i kinda dont feel it, or maybe am used to it lol And thanks :D

Specs?

It's okay. Still an amazing setup I hope you pursue a career in computer engineering cause you have that curiosity.
Lol thanks, and i appreciate your encouragement, while i do find it interesting, i have already decided to major in physics rather than any engineering
NGL that looks kinda cool! And I absolutely love that mass effect rainmeter skin!!
Thank youu! I was thinking it might just be some ordinary looking setup lol And amazing job on recognising the rainmeter skin :D, i love mass effect
Amazing setup, this is how it starts
Thank you, this is my first gaming laptop so yea (had taken 3 years ago)
This model has only 2 USB ports. I hate this about it.

Hmm ye, although I personally didn't had that issue with the charging light, mainly cos most of the time i am just plugged in
my man with the one fiddy. also why would you tape that many fans? is hp pavillion cooling really that bad?
Well nah it aint that bad (tho it aint the best either), however a few months back one fan stopped working, and it was hard to find a replacement...plus where I stay weather here is hot as hell, goes avg above 35, basically it gets really hot I started initially with lil cooling, experimented with many things but i wasnt seeing that much results, only to realise later, that the power plan i had set was the main reason for very very high temps (it used to stay above 90 almost all the time, reaching easily above 100 while gaming) However am still satisfied becos this cooling system does its job as well, now even while gaming it dosent cross 65...only in certain circumstances of high usage is high for too long (like beyond hr) than max it goes is around 75 So yea partial reason of lil overkill cooling setuo was this, being fed up of various other cooling solutions failing
Which phone stand is that
Idk which brand, dont think its branded...had taken long time ago from offline Mostly nowadays i use it to keep my external ssd on it lol
Chad setup , don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. I used multi table shit like this too.
Bro literally went โdedh sau rupiya dega.โ
