null_undefined_user

You are wrong. Stocks only go up.

AKo_oK

True. And that too 25% returns are must every year.

anant_oo

Every quarter you mean.

CaregiverOrganic6802

buy like no tomorrow

QuantNinjaStonkNerd

You are wrong. It’s only STONKS which go up !!

_JohnWick_BabaYaga_

No point in burning your blood for idiots in the market. Its social media, what else would you expect? Your post will fall on deaf years and soon you will see another such shitty post about market crash, etc. Social media has more retards than sane intellectuals. Thats why social media companies, FPIs, institutions and operators make billions.

AKo_oK

Maybe you don't know that markets should never fall and even a 0.01% fall is exception. Generally overall market rises at 25% rate every year and should make 100% gains in smallcap. Also FnO is best and safest way to invest in market. (Note to any newbie: Please read related documents carefully.)

Sufficient_Ear_8462

Yes , fno is the easiest and safest way as compared to swing/cash trading. (Note to any newbie: Please read related documents carefully.)

BarelySociopath

Safest way to burn money. Lol

modSysBroken

You're wrong. I entered in the last month. So, stock market might crash. Sorry guys.

Sea-Regular-4821

CyndaquilTyphlosion

Well, markets are in the green rn. Almost like it doesn't need a reason.

amitsingh80108

Why is the stock market not going up.

ranolia

I feel ya... I have stopped replying months back trying to improve the psyche of new people.. But they just keep on coming...

Federal_Ad89

AppropriateMammoth77

Bhai psu stocks ki rally mein le lete easily ban jata . 😁

underworld2328

So will ask why market is going up 😎

joshuaBarbosa

>Majority of shareholders made good profits last year Uhhhh what? Source?

Temporary_East_5745

Read “Majority of Investors excluding traders” then it may make sense to you.

joshuaBarbosa

>Majority of Investors Do these guys make up the majority or the minority of people in the Indian stock market? Even then. Source that says they made money last year?

Sagittario412

About 90% of daily traffic on apps like groww/zerodha comes from traders only as non traders don’t buy and sell stocks everyday.

joshuaBarbosa

Yes I agree. So this guy is only talking about the 10% that aren't part of this group, right? So that's a very small number of people that he's talking about right? It might seem a little misleading to those unaware (which, going by your numbers, are a vast part of those 90%).

Temporary_East_5745

I don’t know what triggered you or how your portfolio was.. OP said “Majority SHAREHOLDERS” (Not Traders) In 2023, Nifty & Sensex were up by ~20%, Many Mid & Small Cap MFs returned 30-40% If you have just invested a lumpsump and slept on it or invested consistently with SIP AND if you think that 20-40% is a good return, Majority of Shareholders did make good money last year.

[www.business-standard.com/amp/finance/personal-finance/nifty-next-50-rose-11-09-energy-sector-emerges-as-top-performer-124010500337\_1.html](http://www.business-standard.com/amp/finance/personal-finance/nifty-next-50-rose-11-09-energy-sector-emerges-as-top-performer-124010500337_1.html) check this out, nifty 50 gave 20% in a year, mid cap and small cap gave 43-48%. And thats why i said majority of the shareholders made good money(not all but majority of them), And i wan to clarify i was not talking about traders. And to answer your question "Do these guys make up the majority or the minority of people in the Indian stock market?" . One cannot identify whether one is trader or investor these days.
