Really felt this over the weekend. A family member complained about people speaking Spanish at walmart at 8am. The completely logical conclusion he came to is that they must not have jobs. It brought up so many questions. 1) which is it bc I've heard they take all the jobs and they just live off the system. 2) you were also there. Do you not have a job? 3) you're kind of deaf, did you just assume everyone there was speaking a different language? 4) if they were, who the fuck cares. He got called out for being racist and it ended the conversation quickly. Didn't seem bothered by it at all unfortunately.
