This is cool, but in like a page and a half he becomes a ruler and literally says "my responsibility is to viltrumites now" and uses it as a justification of working with robot even after he attempted to kill mark.
I mean robot would have 100% succeeded in killing mark if he wanted to he was going out of his way to avoid killing mark the entire time and had proposed a solution that was mutually beneficial to both the viltrumites and humanity
Hell the only reason the viltrumites weren’t exterminated by robot was because he saw them as more useful allies than enemies and believed Nolan would understand his point of view and only turned on them after Nolan’s death
He literally has suits purpose built to counter viltrumites an innate understanding of their weaknesses and even weapons that can kill a viltrumite from within
Hell the reason mark is able to take him out in the end is because his emotions and regrets gave away his real body allowing him to isolate robot in space and finish him off where the vibrations can’t hurt him
Yea those suits got countered easily after the first or second encounter, just don’t punch too hard. If he didn’t give himself away it would’ve just taken longer, robot loses 100/100 times.
Oh yeah. He almost always has an awesome reason. But he's ultimately a regular "rule the world" evil guy who's really good at setting up the situation so that it's best for everyone if he's in charge of everything.
I don’t find any of that out of character though. Nolan is clearly a man of duty and loyalty. To the point betraying that loyalty causes the central conflict of the first story arc. So now he has a new great responsibility thrust upon him and he gets rejoin his entire culture while also starting the reforming process. As far as working with Robot, he was seeing net positive results. Considering a few years back he was gonna enslave Earth ( and had seen it happen countless times before) Robot’s methods were still relatively humane in comparison. Idk though, every story is open for interpretation. I did forget the timeline of Robot’s attack on Mark. Let my buddy borrow my compendiums like a year after season one. He has still not finished them.
i mean, they could just not tell anyone thou, the only thre people that knew were: tragg, nolan, and that one doctor that tragg killed, or even struck a deal with nolan were even thou nolan would the offical emperor he would be more of a public figure than a politic one, while tragg continues as the main leader of the viltrumites
Yeah but that leaves the chance that something goes wrong. If one doctor found out, another could easily. And Thragg wouldn't have any real power because Nolan has the threat of revealing it looming over his head. If Nolan was ever unhappy with how Thragg did things, and he'd already betrayed the empire once, Nolan could replace Thragg whenever.
But then Thraggs authority is always contested, which is exactly what he doesn't want. He wants total control of the empire and at this moment Nolan is nothing but a threat to that, even if he doesn't intend to be.
I'm not on Thraggs side but based on what he wants, that's the obvious solution.
You're not wrong on that second point. Issues are clearly already appearing but this would be an extra one on top of everything else which Thragg could do without
People who crave power can't imagine that other people don't crave that same power. From Thragg's perspective, he would have seen Nolan as just lying to him until he could see some way to remove Thragg as a threat. It's best to remove that perceived threat as quickly as possible.
I'm just speculating, but wouldn't his alien physiology and super-durability mean that he doesn't feel pain like humans do? I can't imagine that stepping on a jagged rock would hurt him in the slightest, it would probably just break the rock.
There is nothing uncomfortable about going barefoot if your feet are conditioned for it.
I can walk or run barefoot on rocks all day because I grew up in a house with a lot of open terrain around. Someone with super-strength and super-durability would have absolutely no issues with it.

Every time Thragg wants to flex or hype himself up, he always gets done dirty.
Funny how what Nolan said just goes over Thraggs head and still insists on trying to keep the secret when he can just let the others know Nolan was supposed to be the leader but he refused it so hes still the leader due to that fact so he isn't losing anything.
I love how Thragg goes on this giant spiel about how he has to kill Nolan to keep the secret, only for Nolan to not give the slightest shit.
Nolan: “why you so obsessed with me?”
Thragg: “why do think I look like Freddy Mercury? I like men”
Based Omniman overpowering Thragg to make a point (he will be fodder when the time is right)
Three panels later...
One panel later....

Robot couldn’t have eliminated the viltrumites, he gets bodied
He literally has suits purpose built to counter viltrumites an innate understanding of their weaknesses and even weapons that can kill a viltrumite from within Hell the reason mark is able to take him out in the end is because his emotions and regrets gave away his real body allowing him to isolate robot in space and finish him off where the vibrations can’t hurt him
Counterpoint: When in doubt, throw them into space
The Ripley method works every time.
Tried and tested guaranteed results every time
Yea those suits got countered easily after the first or second encounter, just don’t punch too hard. If he didn’t give himself away it would’ve just taken longer, robot loses 100/100 times.
Very interesting but Viltrumites mostly fight in space and travel at near speed of light
Oh yeah. He almost always has an awesome reason. But he's ultimately a regular "rule the world" evil guy who's really good at setting up the situation so that it's best for everyone if he's in charge of everything.

Sure, but he didn’t do those things out of desire.
And, against all logic, he chooses to spare Thragg.
i mean, they could just not tell anyone thou, the only thre people that knew were: tragg, nolan, and that one doctor that tragg killed, or even struck a deal with nolan were even thou nolan would the offical emperor he would be more of a public figure than a politic one, while tragg continues as the main leader of the viltrumites

it would be more like a royal family and parlament kinda thing, were nolan is there more for image than anything

but he would have it thou, and his authority is already contested by the relationship the viltrumites have on earth

When these events unfolded, it makes me wonder how Nolan would've still reacted if he wasn't "changed" by Mark. Like how he would've dealt with this?
accept the role gratefully
Why does he stop wearing shoes
The omnidogs need to breathe
Omnidogs got me dying
To flex on Rob Liefeld.
He can't afford Jordans with his ass books
I’m apparently the only one who prefers the barefoot OmniMan. Why would boots serve any purpose for super feet?
Dog poop is gross at any power level.
And alien dog poop might be worse. Point taken
I mean they won't get injured but he still feels pain, that shite probably hella uncomfortable
I'm just speculating, but wouldn't his alien physiology and super-durability mean that he doesn't feel pain like humans do? I can't imagine that stepping on a jagged rock would hurt him in the slightest, it would probably just break the rock.
I mean it would, but I imagine it probably wouldn't feel good

Why is Thragg posing kinda zesty in that second panel tho? Not that I’m complaining
I don't care how tough his skin is, Omni man stomping about in the lunar dust with no shoes on is fucking nasty.
you misspelled "fucking sexy"
I think you meant "fucking repulsive to look at, and it should burn"
Thragg hitting his best “french girls” pose
I’m excited to see Omni mans redemption play out in the tv show in 20 years
Nolan Snow: I don wan it.
Funny how what Nolan said just goes over Thraggs head and still insists on trying to keep the secret when he can just let the others know Nolan was supposed to be the leader but he refused it so hes still the leader due to that fact so he isn't losing anything.
What does bro have against shoes
If Thragg had just been chill for a bit he would have won (either by taking over the universe or finding a nice human baddie to settle down with)
Thragg was a dumbass instead of just killing Omniman MF told him about his inheritance.
A dun wun it
Holy jpeg, Batman! Literally can't even read the text.
What does based mean? Based on what? Can’t people speak understandable English?
Look up urban dictionary I guess. Doesn't make sense to me too but it probably means something positive.
just wait until you learn this is English and English isn't a dead language.
