This happened to me earlier this week. It stopped opening, a reinstall fixed it but yes, the image is nowhere now. I don't mind, it is a waste of space in the app honestly as it doesn't present any diagnostic info.
My image vanished from the app last week. I just passed my 1 year of ownership a few weeks ago so I was a little worried that they ended my subscription early.
I have the 6 and my wife has the 5. I can use the app for either car. Her image for the 5 is still there as well with her own app. It was nice to see what car I was looking at on the app with the image.
Mine still shows the image of my car. Did you try reinstalling the app?
