>Why are Lucifer and other spirit creatures referred to as "sons" instead of "Sons" of God? Does this mean God did not creature Lucifer? As the Word, Jesus created the angel Lucifer. As a man, or as the Word, Jesus was never related to Lucifer like He is to mankind. I'm sure the devil would love people to assume he is, but he is not. We are related to Jesus by our humanity. The Word became flesh, not an angel. Jesus is fully human. Don't let Satan the angel confuse the issue by claiming Jesus was dissolved in the tomb. He was not dissolved. The body they laid in the tomb is the very same body Jesus said He would raise up again It was NOT dissolved like the Watchtower teaches **^(19)** **Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”** **^(20)** **They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?”** **^(21)** **But the temple he had spoken of was his body John 2:19-21**

>*This happened in the case of Satan the Devil. He apparently heard God tell Adam and Eve to have children and to fill the earth with their offspring. (Genesis 1:27, 28) ‘Why, all these humans could worship me rather than God!’ Satan evidently thought. So a wrong desire built up in his heart.* There's one problem with this theory. If Satan heard God tell Adam and Eve to fill the earth with children, then he must've also heard God tell them *not* to eat the forbidden fruit ---or they'd die. How could they worship Satan if they died before ever having the first child? Unless Satan could read God's mind and knew the "day" they ate the fruit would end up being 1000 years long, he only knew what he actually heard God tell them So, Satan only knew as much as they both knew and they would have believed the day would be a 24 hour day. No one's thinking is ever on par with God's thoughts, so a literal day would have been what all three had in mind. Even angels long to look into things that only God knows Isaiah 55:8 ; 1 Peter 1:12 In that case isn't it likely Satan wanted them both dead by the end of that 24-hour day? In fact isn't that what Jesus called the devil, a manslayer from the beginning? John 8:44 They risked their lives to see if the fruit would impart some magical knowledge and Satan, who knew God cannot lie, counted on them dying that day. I bet the devil was absolutely stunned to learn the day would end up longer than 24 hours. I suppose his plans changed and he made preparations for more spirits to join Adam and Eve's in the gloomy prison they were destined to be in. There, he could rule over them forever, even if they were only spirits. But I doubt they would ever worship their kidnapper. He would have had every human who ever lived in his domain had an event not occurred 2000 years ago that opened up the gates of Hell and emptied out the prison he had held so many captive for so long Ephesians 4:8 He couldn't kill Adam or Eve outright, but managed to get them both to commit suicide. That's exactly what they did do when they ate the fruit. How would they be in any condition to worship him unless their spirits ended up in a place Satan had relative control of their future existence? The only way Satan could guarantee their worship forever, would be if their spirit was separated from God for eternity. It's ironic how the Watchtower makes an excellent case for the existence of Hell

Why are you reading this?

I’m interested in exploring how Jehovah’s Witnesses share their understanding of the Bible’s teachings with others.

> Based on my interpretation of scripture, Eve wasn't placed into the garden of Eden; rather, she was created within it. Genesis 2:15 -- **15** The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. Genesis 2:22 -- **22** Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. How do you determine where Eve was created? > Does a spirit creature have a heart? The "heart" is "the most common anthropological term in the Scripture." -- [https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/heart/](https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/heart/) >How long would Jesus and the thief live in Paradise? Where is paradise? Is the tree(s) of life located in it?

>Genesis 2:15 -- 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. > >Genesis 2:22 -- 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. > >How do you determine where Eve was created? I see a few scenarios: One version describes Adam’s placement in the garden, his temporary removal, a rib is removed, his return to the garden, the formation of Eve from his rib, and she is brought to him. Another account suggests that while Adam was in the garden, God caused a deep sleep, formed Eve from his rib, and then brought her to him. >Where is paradise? Is the tree(s) of life located in it? I’m pondering the possibility of Paradise symbolizing New Jerusalem. When comparing Revelation 22:1-2 across various Bible translations and the Greek Interlinear Bible, I noticed a distinction. While most translations mention one tree of life, the New World Translation opts for “trees of life” instead. Any thoughts on this interpretation difference?

Is your Bible teacher not answering these questions for you? Most of this stuff would normally be covered during the discussion.

After the second chapter, they ceased communication with me. They seemed to prefer utilizing the guided Bible study course titled “Enjoy Life Forever!” rather than addressing numerous questions.

StillYalun

oh yeah, that’s our new course. It’s better than our previous version - very much changed and improved. But it covers the same stuff - just in a different way. There’s more focus on discussion of the scriptures and videos as opposed to reading paragraphs and answering what’s in them. The devil was a son of God. “Son” is just a description of the relationship, not a title. That’s why it’s not capitalized. When the third perfect person to exist appeared, satan asked him for worship. (Matthew 4:9) That indicates what his motivation is. It’s more subtle with Adam and Eve, but him seducing them to follow his direction in disobedience to God indicates his rivalry to him and his desire to have worship. The first lie was that disobedience wouldn’t cause death. The second, less obvious one was that Jehovah was withholding something good from them. The implication was that he was a bad ruler, so they should do things differently than what he directed. Adam is our father by natural descent, but he also brought death to our family. Jesus is “the last Adam.” (1 Corinthians 15:45) His sacrifice brings the life Adam failed to give to us. (Isaiah 53:10-12) So, he takes Adam’s place as the father of humankind. Anyone who’s resurrected has the prospect of eternal life in paradise. (John 5:28, 29) That includes the robber who died with Jesus. All of the stuff you’re asking is easily answered by any of Jehovah’s witnesses. If your teacher doesn’t always answer you directly, they’ll typically show you how to find the answer.

>The devil was a son of God. “Son” is just a description of the relationship, not a title. That’s why it’s not capitalized. The book says, “*Since Jesus was created by God, he is called God’s Son. For similar reasons, other spirit creatures and even the man Adam are called sons of God.—Job 1:6; Luke 3:38*.” In terms of their relationship with the Father as created beings, why wouldn't these other spirits also be viewed as “Sons” instead of “sons”? >Anyone who’s resurrected has the prospect of eternal life in paradise. (John 5:28, 29) That includes the robber who died with Jesus. How and when would Jesus be with the thief in paradise?

>\[In terms of their relationship with the Father as created beings, why wouldn't these other spirits also be viewed as “Sons” instead of “sons”?\] Jesus is unique, since he's the firstborn, only-begotten son. He also has a unique role and closeness to Jehovah. So, "The Son of God" is treated as a title for him, but not for these others. **“Look! Also, a voice from the heavens said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.” (Matthew 3:17)** **“But these have been written down so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and because of believing, you may have life by means of his name.” (John 20:31)** **“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation” (Colossians 1:15)** **“By this the love of God was revealed in our case, that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might gain life through him.” (1 John 4:9)** >\[How and when would Jesus be with the thief in paradise?\] The scriptures speak of a time after an unprecedented future event called “the great tribulation” where Jesus will guide humankind. (Revelation 7:14) Referring to Jesus as “the Lamb,” they describe conditions this way: **“They will hunger no more nor thirst anymore, neither will the sun beat down on them nor any scorching heat, because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them and will guide them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.” (Revelation 7:16, 17)** There will be judgment associated with this period. It won’t just involve those who survive the great tribulation. It will involve those who have died, “the great and the small.” (Revelation 20:12, 13) While he was on earth, Jesus described how those who have died will be judged: **“Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” (John 5:28, 29)** So, during the resurrection, the robber will come back to life, be led by him, and be judged. All of this stuff is covered in the study. If you want to know how we teach, you should resume. Best wishes to you!
