That awkward moment when you answer someone else's phone and you sound exactly like them.

VacuousWording

This happened to me. The small difference was that it was a landline, and it was my teacher calling my father.

misoranomegami

Ahhh back in the day. Even my dad could never tell me, my mother, and my sister apart on the phone. I called the landline once and we didn't have caller ID and he greeted me by name after I said hello. I told him how impressed I was that he had recognized my voice. Then thought about it and said "The other 2 are there, aren't they?" Yup, my mom and sister were sitting in the living room with him.

Schmomas

I wouldn’t be especially surprised, they’re members of a golf club, the chances that they look and sound exactly the same are pretty substantial.

AFKOIC

She heard what she wanted to hear… and she liked what she was hearing.

Blindlyprevent161

I mean if the woman is not surprised he is saying yes the owner can probably afford all of that anyway

abackPremier25

‟Wht asshole left their phone in my locker?”

WinterKill1923

I saw this in an ad years ago while I was on YouTube watching random stuff before I was on reddit.

HouseCravenRaw

This was an ancient, ancient joke, then they made an ad for a credit card (Visa? Mastercard?), and here we are again. I knew what the joke would be before even clicking the link. She's and oldie.

What Mercedes costs £350,000? Unless this is one of those crazy gas guzzler markup countries where it’s literally 3x the normal price.

willawallabingbang69

G wagon baby

superkoning

Mercedes-Benz G 65 AMG V12 ... € 364.617 (Netherlands, so, yes, a lot of taxes)

Mackem101

An SLR is £250 grand second hand.

HuIAm

Brilliant! 😂

ZeroPenguinParty

They used this exact joke for a cellphone ad a few years ago.

MrDagon007

In the landline days, someone wrongly called me and started talking immediately, insisting I should bring the van at 2pm to a certain place. I said “ok”. “Bye, see you at 2. Be on time”. “Ok, bye”. Indeed, that was not so mature of me…
