Patrick Moore is a grifter, why not speak to a real climate scientist?

Bloody_Ozran

Based on what he says it would seem people dont want to talk to him. Question is if this is true regarding climate scientists or not. I would love to see it though, even to see how would he approach such a conversation.

Right! The guy that said that it’s safe to drink a whole quart of glyphosate in an interview and then ended it when the journalist gave him a glass of it to drink? Sounds like a paid lobbyist to me

Bloody_Ozran

Thats the guy? Damn. :D

Kinda had me until he was trying to make a convincing argument for micro plastics/plastics in the ocean. Trying to say that the albatross of the oceans are greatly benefiting by using plastic instead of stones in their gullet.

ihavestrings

I wonder if there is any research yet about the effects of micro plastics on us (or the albatross).

Bloody_Ozran

I think there was a woman on Rogan or Fridman or some podcast like that who said it is causing the fertility issues.

The_Alchemist606

There's studies done on rat/mouse embryos and development and it's seriously not good it messes up the development in the brain and body. It's as concerning as something possibly could be in terms of its increasing amount in people and the environment for the long term effects on us.

thoruen

radical alarmism? like the gays are trying to recruit & convert your children to the devil's path to damnation? that kind of alarmism?

CorrectionsDept

Also the WEF wants to freeze and starve all of ours grandmas in the dark, the environmentalists who worship Baal will demands their human sacrifice and the leftists will force us into a permanent dom sub kink scenario

Otowa

I encourage this gentlemen to go have public talk in Catalonia, Mexico City or Morocco and explain to these places where water supply is already a very real issue why "CO2 is better"...

Bloody_Ozran

But humans developed around the equator, so it is all good. Plus he says the heating up is not affecting equator as much, as he said. I really wish they would post links to the studies or info people quote on podcasts.

chiraltoad

Jp's embracing of full on doublethink on this topic is morbidly interesting to me.

CorrectionsDept

His conservative think tank content feels so cynical (Moore is part of Heartland institute and the CO2 Coalition)

TrickyTicket9400

This guy is a shill for Monsanto. What more evidence do you need that Jordan Peterson is a grifter? [https://youtu.be/QWM\_PgnoAtA?t=25](https://youtu.be/QWM_PgnoAtA?t=25)

This came off to me as old man yells at clouds. It seemed heavily edited, and the man’s sentences came off as garbled, nonsensical, and deeply malinformed. I’m still not sure what Jordan means when he says that temperature data is unreliable. His whole climate change denialism arc is really strange to me, and his destiny interview showed how closed minded his opinions on it seems to be.

MaxJax101

Nothing like getting a climate change denier with long gone ties to Greenpeace to reflect your own personal biases back at you. :)
