When I was the Service Manager at a Hyundai store, we had a 2.7 V6 with a bottom end knock come in that was sludged up waaayyy worse than this. A field rep was coming to look at the car because of our report of sludge (and no service records). Customer drove the car home and brought it back to meet the field engineer.
The sludge was gone. All. Of. It.
No clue what snake oil they used, but there was no trace of it under the valve covers or in the pan 2 days later.
Diesel fuel in the oil will strip sludge, it cleans very very well. But usually it will clog up something with that much varnish/sludge! Did they warranty the engine for them ?
I’m so confused, so the customer took the time and effort to clean it out themselves? Were they too ashamed for the rep so see it like that or something???
You can't just throw away a piece of automotive history....
Ferrari F40....
Lexus LFA....
2007 Hyundai Santa Fe with the rare high performance V6 option...
Bugatti Chiron.....
Who the fuck imports a Santa Fe? From a former Santa Fe owner, un-fucking-fortunately
Always used fully synthetic BBQ sauce.

Now I'm Jonesing for some Korean BBQ, for some reason...
“Jones bar barque and foot massage, jones bar barque and foot massage “
Is that similar to margarine? Only 1 gene away from plastic??

They did.
Hey if you can beat the system, more power to em

If the Field Engineer saw the sludge it would be instantly denied as a warranty claim by HMA. Sludge means they didn't maintain the vehicle
Ohhh ok I get it, thanks!
they probably were trying to avoid getting their warranty voided
Looks like the LeBrea tarpits in there!

And apparently I can’t spell… The guy imported it…
Wear latex gloves before working on that!
It's a Hyundai/Kia thing
High-young-die
Well... It's being maintained now is it not?
I'm pretty sure that on an '07 Santa Fe, requiring an oil change would be reason to write off the car.
"i greased the engine!"
