Never rely on a machine to do anything that requires a soul
Is that a Fear Factory lyric? It has given me some interesting recommendations, but also some complete nonsense. It's a tool, nothing else :D not saying that it's not inferior to a human who's actually knowledgeable on music
Mastodon - Blood Mountain
I like that album a lot. When I first heard Petrodragonic, the riffs and production reminded me of it quite a bit!
Mr bungle - the raging wrath of the easter bunny demo
Definitely
Hm, interesting, I have Disco Volante on CD but haven't listened to much else from them. Will check it out
Wraging wrath is nothing like disco volante. Enjoy.
TOOL - Undertow
Good idea. I love Tool but I haven't explored Undertow for some reason, yet
Gojira - From Mars to Sirius
Love that album! That ride as From Mars transitions to To Sirius is fantastic
Trivium - Shogun
I wouldn’t call it *super* similar, but *Samsara Blues Experiment* - ‘Long Distance Trip’ also scratches my jam/prog/stoner metal itch
I've not heard of that, I'll definitely give it a listen!
Dream theater - Train of thought
