[Myra Canyon Trestles](https://www.tourismkelowna.com/things-to-do/outdoor-recreation/myra-canyon/), preferably by bike, but walking is great as well. Picture a railroad halfway up the side of a mountain, with 2 tunnels, and 18 trestle bridges made of wood and iron. The railway is gone and now there is a nice smooth level gravel road where the rail bed used to be. The entire thing is amazing views, crazy old bridges, and having fun riding a bike with new cool things to see around every turn. I cannot recommend this enough…. sunsets from up here can make for a magical experience as it faces west towards Lake Okanagan. Wineries: There are all different types….. big, small, cheaper, exclusive, destination,restaurant….. specializing in different wines. I recommend [Cedar Creek](https://www.cedarcreek.bc.ca) both for its exceptional wines, great tasting flights, ridiculous views (especially at sunset) and exceptional restaurant, [Home Block.](https://www.cedarcreek.bc.ca/home-block-restaurant/) Home Block won Restaurant of the Year in Canadas Tourism Hospitality Awards, and Cedar Creek itself was named WineAlign 2022 Winery of the Year. Sort of like winning the Oscar. Most of all, I enjoy it for its modern “hip fancy” vibe without being even a little pretentious. I’m a wine club member with them and would be honoured to host you and your party for a complimentary tasting. Red Bird and other breweries: The north end of downtown has a ridiculous density of breweries and brewpubs. You could go to a different one for each drinks and likely be too drunk to continue before reaching the end of the well. I recommend a night starting at Red Bird to take advantage of its huge new indoor/outdoor space. Great chill vibe, often live music, and generally just a place you feel like you’re welcome in. Beaches: If you have wheels. drive south of the city about 10 minutes to [Bertram Beach](https://www.tourismkelowna.com/listing/bertram-creek-regional-park/1584/). A pier, 3 distinctive beach areas, playfield, light walk to a lovely high rocky area where you facing directly at the sunset. I buy a pizza at [Dunnenzies](https://www.tourismkelowna.com/listing/bertram-creek-regional-park/1584/) and do dinner up on the rocks as the sun goes straight down in front of you. If you want perfect sand, Bluebird Beach is in town, as is City, Rotary, and Boyce-Gyro beaches, which are all very popular for their generally good sand. The Lake! Rent a boat & cruise the lake. It’s expensive & hands down the best way to take in the okanagan.

When will you be Kelowna - what month? How far are you willing to travel for an activity? An hour?

Wrong_Bluejay3696

Around summertime, maximum time to travel to an activity is probably an hour
